I recently upgraded from an S4 to the S10e. Wow! Phones have come a long way since then. I didn't need all the bells and whistles of the newest, latest model, but the S10e has more than enough for me. I'm still figuring out some the extra functions it has, but the basics were easy to find/use. So far I'm pleased with my new phone.

What a great little phone! I took advantage of a buy one get one free deal and got this smaller phone for my mom as her first smartphone. It is the perfect size for ease of holding. In addition it is very simple, even without easy mode. There isn't much that comes pre loaded on the phone which is great. She loves it! Added bonus, we can now video chat!

I switched from iPhone SE to Samsung Galaxy S10e. IMHO, neither company gets it right if you want to use the device as a music player and telephone. I did not buy another iPhone because the new ones do not have a headphone jack and do not have expandable storage for music files. The Samsung has both. But the music playback on the Samsung is awful. Their apps are not nearly as good as iTunes for finding specific titles stored on the phone. Furthermore, I cannot figure out how to make either of the Bixby or Google voice commands on the Samsung play music files stored on the phone. Apple's Siri does this function very well. The Samsung voice command apps want to use cloud-based services--which use data--and I do not have an unlimited data plan. Overall score: Apple's hardware is not configured for serious music listening, but Samsung's software needs a lot of improvement to be as good as Apple's software. Beyond the music issue, the Samsung is more customizable than the iPhone, but with that comes a lot more complexity. If you want a phone that you can simply start using, go with the iPhone. The Samsung takes a fair amount of time to figure out what all of the options do. Overall, this is a matter of preference: the simple to use Apple vs the customizable Samsung.

I love my new phone S10e it's very handy and love the camera

After upgrading from the Galaxy S7 Edge, this is an amazing phone. Samsung did an excellent job of packing all of the essentials into the S10e, I have not regretted not splurging on the more feature packed (and expensive) S10 or S10+. It's also amazing that I can use almost the entire phone's screen with one hand.

Luckily I didn't need help with the setup. Has great features and I've caught some great pictures.
