A far superior camera, zoom and effects options
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So much better than my old Samsung J3! Granted it is heavier, and is a good 1/2 inch longer, but it has so much more storage and the Samsung Health does a far better job of tracking my daily steps. It also allows fingerprint security mode which works most of the time - but it sometimes chooses to want my PIN instead. ?? Superior camera with far more effects options. Note the clarity of the flames without over-saturation. Nice close-up, too.

Excellent phone for the money! Best Value EVER!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone packs all of the hardware you need at a steal of a price. Same internals as the S20 flagship. Sub 6 and mmwave 5g, snapdragon 865, 6gb ram, and 128gb of UFS storage!! The best part is the 120hz refresh rate at this price point. Everything is smooth and silky and the interface is on point. And on top of that it has better battery life than the regular s20, s20+, note 20 and note 20 ultra! You can’t go wrong. The plastic rear looks beautiful and won’t shatter like glass. There’s really nothing else that you can ask for especially at this price point. 120hz, 5g, flagship specs, excellent camera with night mode, 128gb+ expandable storage, non crackable back and the icing on the cake... IP68 water and dust resistance. Buy this phone while it’s on sale and save even more!!! For $599 this is an absolute steal and is worth every penny for the years to come.

Samsung S20 FE is a true value flagship phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm rating this 5 stars for the *value* you get with this phone. Especially since I got it at the pre-order price of $599 (which I believe may be the current price at the moment). Prior to this, I've only bought Google branded phones since 2011 (though that phone was the Galaxy Nexus, which was made by Samsung, my last Samsung phone before this one). Then I had the Nexus 5, then the Nexus 6P, then the Pixel 2 XL, and now this. Coming from pure Google experience phones, this took a bit to get used to. It's much heavier than the P2XL, but still feels good in the hand. Basically, the phone is crazy fast, and has almost all of the latest tech you could want in a flagship, while giving up the most cutting edge stuff (that I don't notice, and many others likely won't), in order to bring the price back down to earth. It has UFS 3.1 storage (as fast as you can currently get in an Android phone). It has WiFi 6 (I don't have any WiFi 6 capable routers yet anyway). It has a 120Hz display (which is awesome, but after loving that for a few weeks, I switched it to 60Hz, and I haven't regretted that move). The point is that it's your choice, and you can toggle whenever you want. Cameras are very good (perhaps not Pixel quality, but they're definitely more versatile). "One Shot" mode is a ton of fun. At $599, this is a no-brainer. At $699 (list), it's an exceptional value, but other phones at least enter the competition.

Great Phone For This Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this this for my wife on Oct 31. After setting it and using the phone, it's is really worth the money. Even though it has a plastic back instead of a metal/glass back, it's still solid and wonderful looking. The refresh rate is amazing (120hz), the camera on it is as good as it gets for the money as it takes solid quality images. The focusing is super fast and responsive and the 3x zoom is something that most phones still don't have physically Although the screen is just 2400x1800 AMOLED not UHD 4K, you really cannot tell (tbh, unless you're a smartphone aficionado, you can't tell screens that small having great resolutions or not). The battery size is great and unlike many flagship phones, it's bigger than most of them and it charges pretty fast. Bonus also that it has an expandable memory slot (1TB) which is located on the reverse side of the SIM card slot (first time I've ever seen that!). If I had one drawback for the phone is that this model could have used 8gig of RAM instead of six. I know this phone was made less expensive cutting certain features from the what's available on the other S20 models, but as cheap as RAM is, I think that could've been put in. I have an S10 I got over a year ago, and it's just as good, even the camera is better and the FE has 5G with the 865 processor where my phone is max 4G LTE. The S10 is still more expensive than the S20 FE and it's screen refresh is at 60hz only. So, if you want an almost flagship type phone, and only have the bucks for the typical $500-$700 model today in that price range, this one is it!

Excellent Smartphone Deal!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At $600 the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is too much of a good deal to pass up. Sure, there are several very good mid-tier devices out there today, but for $600 you are getting a brand-new device that performs better (in almost any area) than many year-old flagships that used to cost more than $900. Here's what I can tell you based on my last 48 hours playing with the phone: 1. The cameras are outstanding (day or night), even when compared to state-of-the-art phones from less than a year ago. 2. The phone supports 5G, which works quite well with my current provider. 3. The screen, which is flat and great for screen protectors, is also flagship quality (120 Hz refresh rate) 4. The battery is great. 5. The phone has a top-of-the line processor. OK, the S20 FE lacks a 3.5 mm audio jack; however, I can trade that for the ability to expand the phone's memory via a micro-SD card. Again, there are so many good things packaged in this device that I'm happy it exists at this price point. In my opinion, and from an entirely pragmatic / techie point of view, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G is one of the best deals I've seen in a while. Grab your face mask and head to Best Buy for a demo, I think you won't be disappointed.

Galaxy S20 FE 5G phone
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love it. It's just about the same as the flagship S20, only 400 dollars cheaper. It takes better pictures than my camera. It's fast, customizable, the screen is great. It has some great apps installed and plenty of room for more. I don't think personally that I will need any more than the 128 Gigs of storage but I put a SD Card in anyway for music. Best phone I've ever had and I got 100 dollars off at Best Buy--Great value.

Great phone at a good price
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was a great option at a good price. When my previous phone died on me samsung had begun pricing the galaxy phones at crazy prices and so i became worried, but this one was much more reasonable. I have ran into no issues with it i have been able to play any games i wanted, browsing is no issue and the camera is really nice. Definitely a great phone at a lower price point.

Samsung hits the Bull's Eye
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded to S20 FE from Galaxy S7. Performance is great with Snapdragon 865 n 6Gb RAM Software n UI is improved lot in Samsung`s OneUI Camera Quality is nice with 3x optical zoom and night view 400 ppi display was a concern to me but I dint see much difference from 500 ppi of S7 but 120 Hz compensated well with speed. Blue Matte finish with Bazelless build looks great 3 years of OS Upgrades are promised as well 4500 mah battery gives enough juice Competitive Pricing -Ve Not sure about the durability of Gorilla glass 3. I will get a good protector Samsung got most of the things rite in this phone. This is going to sell like Hot cakes I would recommend!

First Impressions
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Here are my first impressions after having the phone for three days. Pros - Nice camera. It's not professional grade, but for the average consumer, it's great. - Widgets! This is my first time using a android device, and I still have a lot to learn about the OS, but so far I've really enjoyed being able to customize the screen with various widgets. Cons -The finger print reader could be better. It requires a second scan about 1/3 of the time -Not a quality speaker for music. This isn't a problem if you plan on listening to music with your headphones, (Bluetooth, as there is no audio jack), but if you like to Jam with your friends you should get a separate Bluetooth speaker. -Too big for hands and pockets. Additional Notes - Bixby vs Google Assistant. Similar to Siri, Bixby and Google Assistant allow you to search things and access various phone features by voice, such as adding an event to your google calendar in a single sentence. However, they work in very different ways and having two options is confusing. Bixby is optimized to work with Samsung/Microsoft features, and will only work with pre-made 'capsules', like Netflix or Spotify. For example, if I say 'Play the Duck Tales theme song', Bixby asks me to add a Spotify account and will not play my music from YouTube Music or Apple Music. Google Assistant operates more like Google. It has better search functions and will play music from any app I ask. However, Google Assistant and Bixby have different apps for their reminders, and when I add a reminder using Google Assistant it does not add it to the Samsung 'Reminders' widgets. It is nice to have options, but it feels like Samsung, Microsoft, and Google are all fighting for your attention on the same device.

The flagship that should have been.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What allured me to the S20 FE was the high refresh panel, the known quality of Samsung's Cameras and the price. Holding the phone in hand that 120hz screen really helps it feel fluid and snappy, the under screen fingerprint sensor is among the best I have used, and as far as the UI goes, I think Samsung has cleaned up their act since the days of the S5-7 days where it was a but more messy, this gives a feel of the stock Android UI but with plenty of Samsung flair. There has been zero complaints from my end for this device, does everything I want it too and does it well, I can readily reccomend this phone at its $599 price.

Lower price but big value!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is a fairly cheaper than the flagship S20 phone, but is surprisingly very similar and I fell that it is a very good deal in comparison. I like that it has a hi-refresh rate big screen and a good camera system. It also has the 5G phone capability, and is dust and water proof to an IP68 rating! The battery usually lasts me about 1.5 days, but I admit that I don't usually do any gaming or other heavy usage on it. Overall there's a lot to like and at a great price.

FLAGSHIP ON A BUDGET
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old phone was an iPhone 6s and by the generation, you can tell I was in the need of a new phone. I contemplated the pixel 4a between the iPhone SE because I am on a budget and did not desire high specs. Long story short the Pixel 4a was back-ordered and canceled so I did more searching and discovered the Galaxy FE. It has an attractive price with the specs of a flagship phone. After researching other phones I knew it was worth it to shovel out an extra $200 to get this phone. Not to mention, it is already on sale for $150 off! This is my first android phone and here are my first impressions: 1. Extremely customizable, make it functional to your liking. One of my favorite features is reducing the screen size to reach all buttons with one hand. 2. The screen is big, which makes watching videos and playing games more immersive and enjoyable. 3. The picture quality is amazing. You have various modes to capture the right picture. The night mode is especially good. It does a good job and brightening dark areas without over saturating. 4. The OLED screen is crisp. Also, the 120Hz refresh rate makes navigating through the phone smooth and seamless. 5. The sound quality is surprisingly good. It has Dolby Atmos, which boosts sound quality and clarity. These are just my first impressions. But this phone is probably the best phone for the money.

Awesome choice!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent choice for flagship specs and midrange pricing. I purchased 2, FE 5G phones about 3 months ago. The slim design provides large screen space without the large hand requirements of other phones. The screen is gorilla glass 3 so it's pretty brittle if you're used to your phone surviving falls (buy a case) The screen itself being UHD 120hz makes every action buttery smooth (I'm not going back) The matte plastic back of the phone provides more grip and fingerprint resistance than other glass sandwiches The camera versatility is unmatched considering the amount of features samsung packs in. The quality (with generous light) is great, yet seems to fall apart in any light less than ideal (image noise, compression). The night mode makes up for that if you're willing to take a longer shot. Well worth the money if on a budget 9.0/10 Pros: flagship specs, satisfying build quality, industry leading screen/ image quality, all day battery Cons: screen strength, low light performance. Suggestions: could wait for S21 FE for updated specs/ design if you're curious.
