Not Happy.

I have had this cell for a year and am not happy with it. I have continuously had problems with individuals being able to leave a voicemail. It continuous to state, " an error has occurred". Also when I attempt to update the cell's software, it will not do it. Keeps saying " unable to update. Try again". I took it in for Verizon, the manager to assist. He had to go through a lot of steps but fixed it for that moment. Even that took a while. Ugh!

Not impressed with Best Buy in the purchasing, Geek Squad, nor the phone itself. There are so many pop ups for Samsung that drive me mad. I do not want all of that when I am already using GMAIL and those apps for my personal use. In the past week alone it has deleted half of my contacts three different days and it took Verizon over 3 hours to tech support it the first time. It is not what I thought for the price I paid.

BAD Experience (Hope it was just a faulty device)

The phone previous to this one was an iPhone 12 Pro Max. The user interface took some getting used to, but I don't have any real complaints in that department. I bought this phone because it was supposed to work on 3G networks, and it kind of did, but the phone would either drop the call within seconds, or the person on the other end just couldn't understand me. This rendered the phone just as useless as the iPhone in Rural areas where they don't yet have 4G/5G service. My boss had lent me his Samsung S20+ on several occasions and it worked like a charm so I was really expecting this phone to perform the same way. The second problem occurred just 13 days after purchase. The screen went black even though it had almost a full charge it wouldn't turn back on. I took it back to Best Buy. They plugged the phone in and it powered up okay and showed 90% charge but the phone had lost all my contacts, emails, and apps. The staff member unplugged the phone and it died instantaneously. That was the end of that nonsense. I returned the phone and bought another iPhone 12. When I travel to rural areas my boss lends me the S 20+. I'm going to buy an S 20+ as a business phone and write off the expense. I should be able to post a review of the Samsung S 20+ in a few weeks. I hope it will be a positive review. The only critical difference I was able to find in the specifications of the S 20+ and the S 21+ is that the S 21+ does not work on CDMA networks.
