Samsung Galaxy S21+
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No problems with this phone that I've found. Great camera. Miss the expandable memory and the headphone jack but seems to be the trend for them to go away. I don't game on my phone but I've not noticed any screen lag. Does everything I've asked of it so far.

Great upgrade from my dying S7
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To put this review in perspective, I upgraded from an old Galaxy S7. The S7 was slow and severely showing its age. But when I took off the case, it appears the battery was swelling up and pushing the back off, and was very hot on the right side... time for a new phone before a total meltdown. Best Buy seemed to have a better offer than Verizon by opting for the payment plan to save $400. The S21+ is really not physically much bigger than my S7, just a little longer and just slightly wider, so I was pleased about that. I was also able to keep my current cheap plan and not have to move to unlimited. Transfer for my old S7 to the S21 was painless and did it wirelessly using their smart switch app. I did have to re-sign in to all my email and apps though, but that was expected. All photos, videos and apps were moved. There was one or two old Verizon specific apps that did not transfer, but I just had to re-install an updated version of the app. One was the NFL app and the other was the Verizon Call Filter. There is practically no delay in opening apps now, and with 256GB of storage, I don't have a need for a SD card... so the lack of that feature doesn't affect me. I also like that it can auto-sync photos to Microsoft Onedrive. The onscreen fingerprint reader has been good to excellent and I like the smart lock feature which allows me the ability to avoid the frequent task of unlocking it while at home or near specific devices. The only downside for me, and it is probably specific to my situation, is that the photos do not seem to have depth information in them for use with the new Looking Glass Portrait holographic display device. So I took off a star for that because it appears Samsung deliberately removed depth maps from this series. It might be that it is in their raw (dng) format via AI (no depth camera), but Looking Glass does not support that format. I might have been better off just getting the S20 FE which I believe has been verified to work with the Looking Glass.

Great overall phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with phone. Appreciate some of the new features the phone offers that make it convenient, fast and easy to use. The battery lasts a good amount of time before needing to be charged.

Sorta feel cheated
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is fine and all that good stuff. What the issue to me was that it only came with the charger cord. No wall charger plug. Why would Samsung do that!?!? I was made to feel like I had to buy one. When I arrived home I discovered that the wall chargers I have are still good for this phone because it is compatible with the Note9 charger cord. Also there is no headphone jack so you gotta buy wireless buds. What Samsung or Best Buy should do is offer a bundle. Phone, ear buds and charger plug or wireless charger stand.

So far, so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. The bigger screen is nice. The battery lasts at least a full day. Switching from old phone was not extremely difficult. No negative comments so far.

Definitely an Upgrade
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is definitely an upgrade from my S8+. I'm glad I got it on sale though, because I do not think it is worth paying the extra $300 I saved on it. I am still having some difficulties getting it to activate some of my apps and email accounts. But overall, it is much faster than my S8+.

Meh..
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My initial thought is this is basically the same phone as the S20+5G I just traded in, however, it clearly is not. This phone lacks the ability to be expanded via micro SD card. If I had known this before committing to purchase, I would have waited for next years' model. Samsung has this ability to mess up a good thing every other phone...why is that? Why can't they expand on a good thing and make it better? No, instead, they take a step forward in the right direction and then 2 steps back. Hopefully they will bring back the SD card support in the next version and I will definitely read up on the next new phone before committing to anything.

Okay for upgrade, at the right price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is a nice product. It is really smooth working, with little "lag" time. But I am a little disappointed with the battery life--it is less than I was expecting. I upgraded from an S10+, and that battery life was better. It is a good purchase, but only if one doesn't pay full price.

Mister
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far - so good! Too much redundant and predatory software. Of course you can not delete or eliminate it. Oh, what a wonderful world it would be if everyone didn't have a license to pick your pocket.

Good phone, but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is very similar to my previous Samsung phone. I was expecting something better. It does everything well, but is really not any faster or different.
