This phone is experiencing major speaker distortion and crackling. This is a known issue with the S22. So frustrating for a phone that costs so much money!

I love my galaxy s22, very fast and responsive, camera is great. Fast processor, the only thing I totally dislike is the battery, it drain so fast. Coming from another brand where the battery used to last me two days, this one can't even go one single day, I have to recharge mid day to make it through the day.

Perfect size, screen clarity and resolution are a thing of beauty. Camera is fantastic, battery life is alright. Upgraded from a S7 and its lightning fast to say the least. Only docking a star because there's no way to make the headers on top of the screen bigger like the time, wi-fi and signal bars etc.

Small size small battery but it charges faster and it doesn't die as fast as my old iphone. Doesn't overheat which people used to complain about with the larger batteries. The screen is brighter even when im outside using it. The camera is crisp im not the type to take tons of photos but since I got mines i have been. Not the best samsung had to offer but you get what you paid for! Want something better try the ultra.

I never expected from Samsung, very poor battery life. The device battery was lasted for 3.5 to 4 hours max while using continuously. S22 performance was not much significant not up to the mark, display resolution reduced from QHD and FHD. Only design and pink color was good. Not satisfied and I returned to the best buy.

Awesome phone, although 5G is slow

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

It is a really good phone. The camera is awesome, the sound is awesome, the quick swiping and everything about makes a great phone. There is one problem...5G Internet. I know it all depends on where you are but my old phone with 4G was way quicker at loading things and had better video quality on YouTube. On this phone, everything is 360p and most of the time stuff takes forever to load. If you want this phone or any 5 G phone, make sure you look into the 5G coverage that your plan has and other phone plans too and make sure you're in a good spot so it can actually work well...or wifi. Don't let this stop you from buying this phone. It does work, it gets quick sometimes but most of the time it is slow. Hopefully things get quicker in the future

Losing me as a galaxy fan.

Every year the galaxy gets worse. They convinced me to upgrade to the S22 and I 100% regret it.... I've had issues with it since day one... They have made unnecessary changes that make it more difficult to use... Now you have to Press two buttons on the side even to turn it on... You have to use two hands to use your phone and I think that's ridiculous... They have to stop with the ridiculous upgrades that make it harder for us to use it. I have always been a galaxy user and I am now for the first time considering switching over to the iphone.

    Disappointing

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First of all, I'm a big Samsung fan. I have owned 5 Samsung Galaxy phones since the beginning. However, this highly anticipated S22 is a huge disappointment. If you look at the specification, you can see this phone is significantly inferior to the S20 series (the model that was released 2 years ago). Here are the spec downgrades I noticed (comparing S20 to S22): 1. Screen Resolution dropped from QHD (3200 x 1440) to FHD (2340 x 1080) 2. S22 Ram dropped from 12GB to 8 GB 3. MicroSD slot is removed 4. Pressure testing shows that the new CPU Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's performance is worse than Apple's A13 Chip (The one that's in iPhone 11 - the 2019 model). What's worse, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1's performance is also more unstable than last year's Snapdragon 888's performance. 5. The screen has downgraded from curved screen to flat screen 6. Screen size strunked from S20's 6.2" display to S22's 6.1" display. And from S20+'s 6.7" display to S22+'s 6.6" display. 7. No charger included 8. No headset included I undertand Samsung wants to make more money, and I am very disappointed that's what Samsung decided to do - significantly downgrading it's flagship devices, while still selling at a premium price. No wonder the sales of the Samsung's S series has been down over the past two years. Hope they wake up soon.

Complete downgrade from an S20 in every way

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

As others have stated, this is another extreme down grade since the S20. The S22 has 1/3 lower resolution, 1/3 less ram, no micro SD slot, lower battery life, and a worse processor. The S20 was an amazing phone and now the 21 and 22 have both been downgrades. Samsung please get it together so i can buy another galaxy phone. Stop only caring about huge phones that dont fit in anyones pocket. The S series has always been great. Please bring back quality

    Battery ruins the phone

The hardware and software is great. The battery is rubbish and ruins the phone. I have school everyday until 4pm and by 3pm the phone is at 15% with barelt any use because im in class all day. If i watch youtube or play a game the battery will get hot and drain 20% in like 40 minutes. I wish i could love the phone but the battery in this just destroys the product.

I gotta say, I've had this phone for a week and I cannot believe how crappy the battery is. My S20 was better. Not sure why the phone couldn't be just a little thicker to support a bigger battery? The phone itself is great and all, nice job. But what's it matter if there is no power? Just strange.

The battery life is breathtakingly bad!!!!!!!!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I highly recommend not buying this phone. Out of the box, you can maybe get a max usage time of 3 hours throughout the day with moderate activity (no gaming or YouTube, etc.) before you reach 0% (without charging and via the "optimized" mode). To put that into perspective... that is hardly anything! I do not even know you, but I am willing to bet you will get pretty close to that number easy. And considering that batteries decay overtime, your ability to use without charging is just going to get worse day by day. Note also that Best Buy charges you a $45 fee once you open it!!!!! So again, DON'T BUY IT AND YOU CAN THANK ME LATER. WAIT until the S23!!! If you are really desperate, buy an S10 for the time being.
