Major downgrade in front camera quality!

I upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S25+ expecting an improvement over my previous Galaxy (S22), especially with the camera. Unfortunately, the front-facing camera is a major downgrade, and it’s extremely disappointing for a phone at this price point. Photos look flat, dull, and oddly desaturated, especially on darker or warm skin tones. In indoor lighting or with a ring light, the results are even worse. Turning on HD or “high quality” makes skin look overly harsh and unnatural, showing every pore with no balance, while turning it off makes the image lifeless and gray. There’s no middle ground. This is especially frustrating because the video quality is actually very good, which proves the hardware is capable — Samsung’s photo processing is the problem. I should not have to rely on workarounds (like pulling screenshots from video) to get decent photos on a nearly $1,000 flagship phone. As an actress and content creator, camera quality matters. If this phone can’t handle flattering, balanced selfies in normal lighting, that’s a serious issue. I would not have upgraded if I had known the front camera processing had been changed this drastically. Battery life and performance are great, but the camera is a dealbreaker. Samsung needs to address this through software updates, because in its current state, this feels like a step backward, not forward. The photos I attached showcase how bad the front camera looks.

We appreciate your candor as we make every effort to improve the design and functionality of our product line. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. For content creation on your Samsung Galaxy S25+, the rear camera offers superior quality and advanced features, while the front camera provides convenience for monitoring your shot in real-time. I purchased an open box item supposedly in Excellent condition. When I recieved the item it had a noticable static sound. I contacted BB and they said to contact Samsung to troubleshoot. Samsung was not the easiest to get ahold of. When I did get them, they led me through some troubleshooting steps like clearing cache and running the diagnostic. After running the diagnostic, it was determined that the media speaker needs to be replaced. It appears either BB is either deaf or did not run the diagnostic on this item...yet they sell it as excellent condition when it is obviously having problems. When i went to the store to exchange, they let me know that I should contact the Geek squad to diagnose it. So, I made an appointment for the following day. They determined that it was also defective. When i asked about exchanging it, they said it was over 14 days.....what...So I need to send it to Samsung to repair which takes 2 weeks. This does not seem right and I will be out of a phone for 2 weeks when BB should at minimum test the phone before selling an open box as Excellent.

Software hard to use. Good quality though. Really disappointed of how android compare to ios. Maybe just personal preference. Definitely not a android fan, also not a apple fan. So its hard for me to get a phone. Always compromise.

I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy S25+ for a few weeks now, and it’s easily one of the best smartphones I’ve ever owned. Samsung has really nailed the balance between power, design, and everyday usability. Pros: Display: The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is absolutely stunning—bright, crisp, and buttery smooth with the 120Hz refresh rate. Watching videos or just scrolling feels incredibly premium. Performance: The S25+ is lightning-fast. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (or Exynos equivalent), multitasking, gaming, and switching between apps is seamless. No lag whatsoever. Camera: The triple-lens camera system is excellent. The new AI enhancements make low-light shots much better, and the zoom is sharp up to 10x. Portraits and video stabilization have noticeably improved too. Battery Life: I’m getting easily a full day and more with moderate to heavy use. Fast charging and wireless charging are both very efficient. Build Quality: Sleek design, solid feel in hand, and the matte finish resists fingerprints well. It looks and feels premium. Software: One UI 7 is clean, customizable, and feature-rich without feeling bloated. Samsung’s long-term software update promise is also a big plus. Cons: • No microSD slot or headphone jack, but that’s expected in modern flagships now. • A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Verdict: If you’re looking for a phone that delivers on all fronts—performance, camera, display, and battery—the Galaxy S25+ is a top-tier choice. It’s perfect for power users, professionals, and anyone who wants a future-proof phone that feels as good as it performs.

Design & Display: The Silver Shadow finish gives the phone a sophisticated and modern look. The large, vibrant AMOLED display delivers crisp visuals with excellent color accuracy and brightness, perfect for streaming, gaming, and everyday use. Performance: Powered by the latest processor and equipped with ample RAM, the Galaxy S25+ handles multitasking and demanding applications with ease. Whether you're gaming, editing videos, or running multiple apps, the performance remains smooth and responsive. Camera: The camera system is impressive, capturing sharp, detailed photos in various lighting conditions. Features like advanced night mode, optical image stabilization, and AI enhancements ensure your shots look professional every time. Battery Life: The battery life is robust, comfortably lasting through a full day of heavy use. Fast charging and wireless charging capabilities add convenience, minimizing downtime. Connectivity & Features: Being unlocked, the Galaxy S25+ offers flexibility to use with any compatible carrier. It supports 5G connectivity, ensuring fast internet speeds. Additional features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and water resistance enhance the overall user experience.

Excellent phone! I upgraded from a Galaxy S21 FE and this was quite the upgrade in terms of performance and battery life! Cameras are good but I feel like Samsung cameras have already peaked so there not massively better than my s21. Battery life is great in 1080p mode and even when the screen is at 1440p, I can still get through 2 days of web browsing, gaming, and etc. The phone has great build quality and definitely feels alot higher quality than my s21, especially now that I have a glass back! Overall i would recommend this phone to anyone and i personally think it's the best Samsung flagship out of the 3 offered.

Battery lasts all day, and the AI features like call summaries are actually useful. Totally worth it — feels fast, premium, and solid in hand.

I bought this Galaxy S25 Plus on March 7, 2025. Quite simply, I love this phone. I have owned several phones in the last year, including an iPhone 15 Plus, a Galaxy S24 Ultra, and a Google Pixel 9. This phone is by far my favorite. Why, you ask, is it my favorite? Well, I will tell you! It is lighter and easier to handle than the S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Plus and it feels more premium and polished than the Pixel 9. The screen is beautiful and One UI7 is very well developed and works great. The fingerprint reader is the best I have seen on a Galaxy phone and works first time every time. Overall, I think this phone, at least for me, meets all my requirements for a premium device. I plan on hanging on to this one for quite a while, much to the relief of my wife, who tires of my constant phone switching.

Love the display, how light the phone is, and battery life is great. One UI7 is nice update especially when you download Good lock. Went with this over Pixel 9 pro and uodated from iPhone 15pro. With S25+ the Display the whites actually look white without having to max the brightness like you have to do on pixels and iphones. Battery life is great, the phone doesnt get hot. Pixel 9 pro still got really warm when gaming, while s25+ did not. There are enough software features that mimic the pixels but i removed a star for that reason as well. Samsung and google are compete to be default app like photos, browser, wallet, and on and on. But on the plus side at least you have choices, i actually like samsung browser better but if i set as default it messes up autofill passwords. Same with google wallet and samsung wallet. The choices may cause bugs that you have to research and make adjustments in settings. The Pixels take better photos but Pixels dont play well with custom launchers but with S25+ i just run OneUI 7. This is coming from lontime nova launcher user. No need. Also i like how samsung continues to reduce the weight of their phones while iphones and pixels keep getting heavier. Purchased onsale for $875
