It runs smoothly. I loved how easy it was to transfer everything from my old phone (Samsung Galaxy S Ultra 23) to this one. It even kept all my settings. Only backdraw I've had with that was that some of the apps did not have their stock sounds,so i ended up uninstalling and reinstalling those apps to reset their stock sounds. My phone does run hot sometimes, but i do have it on 24/7 and vidcall a lot to stay in touch with family. The cameras are great and take beautiful pictures. I love that i can even take decent moon photos.

Upgraded from a galaxy Z Fold 5. Tired of the inner screen messing up. I work around saw dust everyday and the z fold phone are not dust resistant therefore the sawdust destroys them. This phone is a lot tougher and a work horse. Glad I made the switch away from folding phones again. This screen is amazing and the cameras are so good. Battery lasts all day. Just wish s pen still had Bluetooth.

The S25 Is a good device but I have some issues with it. One the display is weaker than last year which I had so I can compare it. I already have scratches on my S25 From sleeping with it in my pocket wearing sweats, either I had my keys in my purse or spare change in my pockets, those scratches would have never appeared in my S24U,23U, and S22U but yet here we are with Samsung making the display more shatter resistant than scratch resistant. They should have kept the same level of shatter-to-scratch as last year. And second, they should have kept the Spen with Bluetooth support, the spen was so useful as I would use it to take night photos on a cam tripod or a flat surface and not have to press the button so I don't accidentally knock the camera also to control music when the phone is in my pocket and the Spen is in my hand. The Good things are, that the newer Processor is faster so I can play switch games with fewer stutters and play my pc emulated games better than my S24 if I wanted to. (I only have three things on my keys. Car, 2 house keys. and flipper zero) That's what scratched my screen. And a screen protector will make the anti-reflective display useless. So better get ur self warranty unless u want a bad display in the sun.

Photos are great. Battery life is also great. The spen is a great feature. The only con is it is a bit big. But, some people like that.

Its powerful and quite competent. However I just wish the S-pen still had the Bluetooth features. (Air draw, click to take photos, etc.) Ive been rockin out with no case, proving Samsung's durable architecture after a few drops and surprisingly no damages. (Photo captured without trying)

As an owner of tons of Samsung products (phones, folds, tabs, monitors etc) i can say the S25 ultra is the perfect phone with one big caveat, the camera optimization software is terrible. The pictures look extremely mediocre compared to even my Galaxy S23+. Only when you use the zoom features does the camera wow you, which is extremely important to me. But despite the camera being extremely mediocre, the rest of the phone is incredible if you're familiar and used to the Samsung ecosystem

I currently own both the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and the new S25 Ultra, so I can give a fair and real-world comparison. While the S25 Ultra is impressive on paper, in everyday use, I find myself preferring the S24 Ultra for its stability and overall balance. Pros of the S25 Ultra: 1. Display - absolutely stunning! The 6.9" Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 120Hz refresh rate and up to 2600 nits brightness is one of the best I've seen. Content is sharp, smooth, and perfectly visible even in direct sunlight. 2. Camera - technically powerful! The 200MP main sensor, 50MP periscope, 10MP telephoto, and 50MP ultra-wide lens offer flexibility and high-quality shots. However, in practice, image quality is often comparable to the S24 Ultra - and in some lighting conditions, the S24 even wins with better color balance. 3. Performance - no complaints here. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Elite handles everything you throw at it - gaming, multitasking, heavy apps - all buttery smooth. 4. Galaxy AI features - innovative but limited. Features like Circle to Search and Note Assist are genuinely helpful, but they're currently only fully functional in English or Korean and mostly limited to the U.S. and South Korea. Outside those regions, they feel like half-promises. 5. Long-term software support. Seven years of Android and security updates is a great move from Samsung - something I really appreciate. And now - Cons and Issues: 1. One UI 7 still feels unpolished Occasional freezes in the quick settings panel; Always-On Display sometimes fails to activate; Auto-rotate bugs in YouTube and the gallery app; Gesture responsiveness drops randomly. 2. S Pen Took a Step Back. The removal of Bluetooth in the S Pen is a major downgrade. No remote camera control or gesture features anymore - features I used often on the S24 Ultra. 3. Battery life & charging - just average. The 5000mAh battery is okay, but with Galaxy AI features running, it drains quicker than expected. Charging is limited to 45W, which feels outdated compared to competitors offering 65W+. 4. Galaxy AI geels overhyped (gor now). Unless you're in a supported region with English/Korean as your system language, many features just don’t work or are extremely limited. 5. Overall experience - I trust the S24 Ultra more. Despite all the power, I find myself using the S24 Ultra more often. It’s smoother, more consistent, and feels like a fully mature product. The S25 Ultra still needs some software refinement to feel truly flagship-worthy. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is a powerful device with next-gen features and excellent hardware - no doubt. But right now, it feels like a flagship still in beta. With software updates and expanded AI support, it could become the best phone of the year. But as of today, my S24 Ultra still wins in terms of overall user experience. Rating: 4/5

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a top-tier flagship smartphone that delivers a premium experience, but it's more a story of refinement than a revolutionary leap. Pros: * Best-in-class display: The 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen is incredibly bright and sharp, with a new anti-reflective coating that makes it excellent for outdoor use. * Powerful performance: The Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor makes it one of the fastest and most capable phones on the market. * Versatile camera system: The quad-camera setup, with a 200MP main sensor and dual telephoto lenses (3\times and 5\times optical zoom), offers great flexibility and excellent photo quality. * Improved design and feel: A lighter build and flatter sides with a titanium frame make the phone feel more premium and easier to hold. * Strong AI features: Samsung's Galaxy AI, including real-time translation and advanced photo editing, is a major selling point. Cons: * Slow charging speed: The 45W wired charging is significantly slower than many competitors. * Minor hardware upgrades: While performance and the camera are improved, many of the hardware changes are incremental, making it a less compelling upgrade for S24 Ultra owners. * High price: As a premium flagship, it comes with a steep price tag, which may not be justified for those who don't need all the cutting-edge features. * S Pen changes: The S Pen's Bluetooth connectivity has been removed, which some users may miss.

The Samsung S25 Ultra Review after 7 days

The Samsung S25 Ultra has been an excellent device in my daily use. The display is stunning, the camera system performs exceptionally well in photos, and the battery life easily lasts through a full day of heavy use. The phone also feels very premium and fast in every task, whether gaming or multitasking. The only area that disappoints me is the 4K video recording quality, which feels below the level expected from a flagship—especially compared to its outstanding photo performance. Aside from that, everything else is top-notch, and I am very happy with the phone.

Works great, I don't necessarily like the things samsung constantly adds or changes but it is what it is nowadays. Like the pen even if it doesn't get much use, handy when needed. Cameras are nice and the zoom is cool. Nothing crazy different from my last phone, the 21 Ultra, besides battery, so far has been noticeably better. At least it doesn't shove AI down your throat as you can turn off most features you don't need or want.

The camera quality, sound and screen performance are excellent. I love the color, and the general phone aesthetics, even with the slightly larger size. Easy to port data from my previous phone (not Samsung). The battery lasts the whole day even with the location ON. I wish the pen came with bluetooth functionality like the past galaxy S-series phones, but otherwise it works great

I love my phone. It is a portable computer. I connect a wireless keyboard and a monitor to it and can get a lot done with it. I love the display, the camera, the seamless syncing with my other Samsung devices and more. The only problem is how heavy it is, which I understand is what it takes to be able to have such a powerful handheld device. I'll need to get something else next time because it is hurting my fingers.
