There is not that user friendly functionality I was hoping for and the battery life isn't spectacular. Settings are buried and sometimes difficult to find. I'm having some heating issues right away and am finding I'm not getting my phone calls. It's not what I remember or expect from this company.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased an Open Box "Excellent" condition Samsung Galaxy S26+ (256 GB, Cobalt Violet) from the Bellevue, WA location. Upon initial inspection, the phone looked immaculate, and it worked fine for the first few days. However, it quickly began to constantly crash and restart on its own. For a device supposedly checked and carefully inspected by Best Buy and Geek Squad, this was a massive disappointment. When I took it in to troubleshoot, Geek Squad essentially said they couldn't do anything and that a return was the only option. The whole experience was a complete timewaster. Even with warranty coverage, devices need to be far more rigorously tested before being resold as open-box "Excellent." There is a major disconnect between online marketing, which heavily advertises quality assurance, and the in-store employees who casually admitted that open-box items are a "hit or miss" experience that they personally don't recommend. The S26+ itself is a nice phone, though, when operating properly.
