I was a huge apple fan but recently had intrest in samsungs specifically the galaxy s26 plus. The customizations are amazing, the phone is powerful and ill probably be a lifetime galazy fan now

I made 3 trips to Best Buy in Lake Charles to transfer ALL my info from my IPhone to my a new Samsung and in 3 trips, it still was NOT set back to factory settings. I even purchased a Geek Squad Protection plan in additional to the Geek Squad protection for my new Samsung because I needed this done! Everything did not go smoothly from my first appointment! My appointment was later than it should have been because they were running behind! A customer ahead of me left the store because it took so long and I still had a later than normal appointment. I tried to go back the following day but there were no openings!! 2 days later I returned to the store and although I SPECIFICALLY told them I already transferred my pictures to my new Samsung, they still transferred my pictures anyway and it doubled most of my pictures and quadrupled the others. That day, 3 or 4 different people worked on my cell and OBVIOUSLY no one shared the news! My phone was supposed to be wiped clean! I have no clue what they did but, it was nowhere near clean! My NEW cell phone which has double the memory of my older phone now had only a small percentage of space left and I had no clue why until I returned home! It took me 5 days at 5 hours a day to delete all the pictures in my new phone and many, many steps to figure out how to clear out other things on my phone. I also asked if there was a way or program besides my NORTON antivirus to verify if there was any virus or if my IPhone had been hacked. That issue seemed ignored because this was yet another piece of information I did not receive and other employees couldnt tell me if one od the several other employees did this! I soon had Chinese(?) script messages popping up all day long and my NEW cell getting very hot. Just as my IPhone was doing. I never got a response on this! On the third trip, I did a return to the store and also I learned they wouldnt give me the $200 for turning my cell phone in. I had to go back to my vehicle to get my new phone to show the message from Best Buy on the amount I'd receive. I also explained that my phone was not cracked but in excellent condition and that, in excellent condition I would get more money on the trade in. They said they would only give me $100 and that I would have to send it directly to Best Buy. The guy who did returns told me that not all my information was cleared out and it needed to be cleared out to return it! I went to Geek Squad AGAIN and the man said that it would not be finished until past the store closing. I left with the cell and it did not take as long as he said it would take but, by this time I was an hour from getting back to the store which would have been closed. While at Best Buy, I also learned that this step STILL did NOT erase all of the information to set it back to factory settings!! Geek Squad kept me from getting the money I could have gotten for this phone! This was the worse service I have ever had from Best Buy! I do not trust that your workers know what they are doing! TODAY, I FINALLY GOOGLED HOW TO SET MY PHONE BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS. IF I WOULD HAVE HAD TIME IN THE LAST MONTH I WOULD HAVE DONE IT MYSELF!! UNFORTUNATELY, I AM PRESSED FOR TIME TO FINISH A REMODELING JOB AND DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO DO THE JOB I PAID BEST BUY TO DO THE FIRST DAY I GOT THERE AND THE ADDITIONAL SERVICE PLAN I PURCHASED THE LAST TIME I WENT THERE! TRUST MEANS A LOT TO ME! Ive done business with Best Buy since the 1980s when I got married(different last name). If my children needed computers or calculators, movies or anything else Best Buy sold, I went to your store before any other store! Less r Than 10 years ago was my first issue with BB with a cocky female Geek Squad employee who said my cell worked since I coule make calls and text. I had to loudly tell her to give me back my phone that day after a long ridiculous visit and nothing being done about it. She saw that some things didn't work yet calls and texts worked so no reason to have Geek Squad check it! That day was bad! I have had other minor issues which were corrected but, this new problem makes all the others seem minor! I want to do business with Best Buy but, there are more places I can go to! Ive spent 10s of thousands from the 1980s just in the Lake Charles store alone! Ive also shopped other stores from north to south and east to west Louisiana. Right now, I'm in delete mode status of MANY businesses with their poor quality products & customer service. I hope this major screw up is the last I see with BB!

Good understand that you have a request for so many letters.....

The phone is ok - a little better than my old. But Best Buy never fulfilled its promise of trade-in value for my old - and the new phone is NOT worth full price to me. Best Buy customer service has been awful and inexperienced... Maybe I'll get my refund in a few more months...

Love this phone all around very much! Don't have anything bad to say about it!
