I've never had a phone cover do that. It snapped by the charging port and now there is a pokey piece of plastic at thr bottom of my phone. I do not recommend this. I'm going back to Otterbox. On the plus side I did like the color - a periwinkle violet blend. Not too purple. Not just blue. And the grippy texture is good.

Improves grip on the phone. Fits snugly. All buttons and charging work properly. Would definitely recommend.
