Even so I would have kept it, except that despite my numerous tweaking efforts my very sensitive eyes couldn't adjust to whatever they did to the screen. Right out of the box I found that blacks and other dark colors are not as rich or deep; whites have a chromatic abberation effect; and I felt nauseated after using the phone for even small amounts of time. No amount of tweaking the settings helped. Hard pass. It got returned.

When it comes to your new Privacy display feature, the Maximum Privacy protection mode is designed to enhance privacy effects more than the standard Privacy mode. In this mode, pixel operation control is used to strengthen privacy effects, which may cause slight color changes or a blurry appearance on the screen. While this increases privacy protection, it may also make the screen appear somewhat hazy. If you find this uncomfortable, we recommend using the standard Privacy mode.
