Got my husband this phone a few months back.. he loves it. Went back to get another for my dad. It's his first smartphone, he has no problem using it

The phone was a great deal and easy to set up. The battery life is a little below average. My only real complaint is that it was hard to get my free gift card that came with the phone.

Overall, the phone is pretty good. I had a few problems in the beginning with the text messaging but all was resolved by technical support. AT&T has very reasonable plan as well

This phone is amazing but be prepared... I purchased this phone full retail since I am a Cricket customer (using the AT&T network) but not and AT&T customer. I was told I would receive a 100GB Onedrive promotion which I did not. AT&T removed that promo to push thier own cloud storage app. IF you are not an AT&T customer like myself, however, you will not be able to use ANY of the preinstalled AT&T apps. Being that this ONLY has the 32GB storage option with no expandable storage, make sure you have plenty of space available with a cloud storage provider or you may be regretting the choice. The features of the phone are all amazing. Water resistance (water-phobic with no need for rubber port covers) lets you take amazing photo and video underwater, drop resistance is great! The camera is THE BEST and I could go on for days. Just be prepared if you aren't AT&T to be a little annoyed with the carrier-imposed limitations.

Not to happy with this product. It's not living up to its name. The screen cracked on day 2 and Samsung or best buy did anything for me. They said good luck.

I keep getting the black screen of death. The new security patch update was suppose to fix this but it still happens. Not as random but still happens.

Kept having problems with speaker. The speaker to talk on phone would cut out and not work, would only be able to then use speaker phone.

Samsung is always better than Apple.products...always 10 steps ahead.

Researched many options before settling for this one.

A phone case is definitely needed for this. My son dropped it and it cracked. We were waiting on his case to arrive due to one not being available in store so we had to do some shopping around to find one.

I am upgrading from a note 2, so I completed skipped the S5. The selling point from me was the dustproof rating and the water resistance. I was bummed that you can't replace the battery like you can in the earlier iterations, but I have to say, I really like this phone. The battery life is RIDICULOUSLY awesome and it takes very little time to recharge. Big bonus for me. I do like having actual buttons for the home and back key because on the note 2, I was always accidentally hitting those buttons. The phone itself feels really solid in your hand...and I actually didn't get a case for it because I feel like it doesn't really need it. I may change my mind depending on whether or not the glass gets scratched, but so far, so good. It's a good product. Highly recommend.

Didn't last month 1/2.. and good old best buy said I have insurance until I went to file a claim then they said I didn't. .

Blanks and purple screen. Lost 100 dollars of purchased new music in less then thirty non working days.

I would recommend the phone, but not using AT&T. I've paid for protection and when I had a problem with the phone, both Best Buy and AT&T were of no help. Samsung had to be contacted to get it straight. This phone had a factory defect and both AT&T and Best Buy fought me about it.
