Very unhappy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loved the phone the first 2 weeks...then I became extremely unhappy when within 3 weeks of having the phone (1 week past the allowable return/exchange time) the phone becomes inconsistent in receiving and sending calls/texts and becomes extremely hot to the touch. A brand new phone should not have these problems. Sadly the only thing I can do is warranty out the phone and will get THE SAME EXACT PHONE. This should not be the case.

Great phone, but is EDGE worth the added $'s?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the S6 Edge for a week now and it is a great phone. The materials are fantastic and the AMOLED screen is even better than the S5 or Note 4's. It's fast and responsive and Lollipop is a real improvement. I highly customize my phone with Nova Launcher and have it hooked up to a pebble watch. Both work w/o any flaws. My only concern is that the edge features only work with the out of the box samsung apps (phone, messages, email, calendar, etc.) Unfortunately for me, I don't use these apps. I use Handgouts for messages, gmail and Good for email and calendar so basically I get none of the EDGE notifications or value. If you can use the out of the box samsung apps than the EDGE might be for you but if you can't use the out of the box apps then I'd recommend the regular S6 and save the $150 dollars on the device.

One of the best android phones on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this phone to replace an LG G3. I was very disappointed with the G3 especially since I was coming from an iPhone 5 and the G3 was my first android phone. The G3 wasn't working and I needed to replace it. I didn't want to do the ATT next plan so I decided to pay for the phone instead of doing the installment plan. The galaxy s6 edge happened to be on sale for $399 so I decided to give it a try. Boy am I happy I did. This phone is really fast. The super AMOLED screen is beautiful and super clear even outside on a sunny day I don't have a problem viewing it. Touchwiz has gotten so much better and I actually prefer it over stock android. The phone design is beautiful. All glass and metal construction. The one thing I wish was better is battery life. Since the phone only has a 2600 mAh battery. For some people this could be a problem but once ATT decides to release Android 6.0 marshmallow update for the S6 edge this wont be as much of an issue due to marshmallow having a feature called Doze which greatly improves battery consumption. To me this along with the new galaxy s7 are the best android smartphones out on the market. I would have liked to have the new S7 edge but at almost half the price of a galaxy S7 edge this phone is just too good to pass up.

LOVE/HATE RELATIONSHIP!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So i purchased this phone when it first came out and here it is about a year later and the phone is now going down the drain. I've always had iPhone since it first came out and i figured its time to make a change so I grabbed this S6 Edge. - I love all the features it has however now the phone heats up so much that I'm sure I can cook some pork chops on it and Chef Ramsey would be impressed on how well cooked it is. - If I recall correctly the first initial reviews and Samsung claims stated that this will keep cool while gaming and be fast. Just 5 minutes of Smashy Road and the volume buttons are hot enough to cause a drought in California. - When I open the camera it makes this weird sound like I can actually hear the camera waking up and the screen showing the cameras view starts blurring and waving that at moments I thought I was on acid. Overall I love this phone, I may go back to iPhone when my contract is up but something tells me that just like my wife, I will be greeted with disappointment. . .I'm sure I will get another Galaxy after my next iPhone.

Best Samsung Galaxy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my Iphone 6 plus with this phone and I am impressed with the improvements. I love the edge screen especially the night clock and in my opinion it is the best feature of this phone. There is no lag yet on my phone but then again I do not play games or download many applications on any of my phones. The fingerprint scanner is not as good as the one on Iphone but I never used the one on the Iphone so I do not care much about this issue. The only problem I have with android phones is that they come with twice the preloaded applications when compared to apple. I hope at&t will stop loading our phones with the applications that we will never use. Lastly if Samsung would trim the UI a little more it will be even better. I still see some repetition in the settings but they have reduced it a lot compared to the previous model.

Started out impressed, but now runs slow.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After nearly a month of having it it is noticeably slower than my 2 year old HTC One m7. There is lag nearly in every use and app, including the home screen. The home screen will sometimes be blank when unlocking the phone or pressing the home button, then load each app icon and widget separately. Sometimes the keyboard will stay up when closing out of the messenger app or chrome browser. Sometimes scrolling in chrome will be lagged. Sometimes switching apps will have lag. All of the lag can be from half a second to a couple of seconds. The Edge screen doesn't add much, except for looks. I knew this before buying the phone, but it would be nice if there was more to the edge. Battery life does last more than my 2 year old HTC one. Lasts nearly a day, but with a dimmed screen and power saver on. It is really easy to press the power or home button accidentally. The buttons are a little sticky. It is a very solid phone, just not worth it's price, and I'm now really worried about it lasting for 2 more years. Not sure if it is only my phone, or if they are all like this.

I got a used phone!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered this phone because my samsung s6 active got fried for no reason. I bought this samsung s6 edge because it was a good deal. I ordered it on friday may 13 and received it on monday may 16. When i opened the package you can tell the phone wasnt even new. It came with so many fingerprints, no sea whatsover and on the box it has in green marker writing that says 2 yr only. The box is also a little banged up. The phone wasnt even a little charged and we also had problems opening the sim card tray. This phone is used and you can tell right away.. I did not pay for a used phone, no where did it specify that it is used or open box. It didnt even come with a charger and in the website it says it does. Ive never ordered phones from online and now i know why. I really hope i can get a new one which i paid for!! Be very wary in buying phones online from their warehouse. I normally like in store purchases but they didnt have this phone in stock so i had to get it delivered. This is so frustrating.

Text Messages Disappear
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the phone but it has a big issue, text messages disappear after you click view when the pop up window shows up. Tech support at Samsung couldn't even help fix this issue. After reading about it online, seems like a lot of people are having this issue. Very disappointing. Going to return this and get the Iphone instead.

Just okay

Horrible experience!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone was purchased in early July 2015. It worked for three weeks and then it went crazy. The phone is useless and it restarts on its own continuously. Best Buy said it wasn't their problem. The phone is now back with Samsung repair for the second time. This is the worst phone and phone buying experience I have EVER had with a cell phone! There is no way I can recommend buying this phone or buying it from Best Buy.

My Samsung s6 edge
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst phone i ever had. Battery only lasts 8 hrs. Wifi connection is so poor. Many times texts were not sent. Settings are mysteriously changed itself. Screen is not responsive at times. Voice connection when making calls are so slow... I begin to question Samsung quality getting worse n worse... my old samsung S4 was much better, and even iphone. I plan to switch back to Iphone. Iphones have its own problems but not like these. Very disappointed to choose S6 Edge. Do not buy this phone.
