This phone went on sale right when my upgrade was available. The gold/platinum color is very nice & makes you not want to cover it up with a case. The only reason I gave 4-stars is because you can't add memory or remove the battery like the past Galaxy phones. I usually add a 32gb or 64gb card to my phones, but hopefully this works out.

I first fell in love with the Samsung phones with my Galaxy S3 so the move to the S6 was a no-brainer...when I was ready, of course! Best decision this year! I love all the new features, especially the speed and the photo quality!

Overall I like the phone. The only thing I don't like is that there is not an expandable memory card and I cannot download KIES to transfer my iTunes library over. Luckily the copy/paste works from my stored folder but the playlists had to be reorganized. Not good when you have a lot of music.

I purchased this phone a week ago and I love it. The photos and video are very clear and I like that it captures photos very quickly. I like that it syncs with the tablet.

Great phone with two major flaws

I had a Galaxy S5 prior to upgrading to the S6. While the phone itself is very sleek and I like the functionality of the Android operating system, I feel like I was sold a bill of goods by the folks at Best Buy and the rep from Verizon. My biggest issue with the S5 was the horrible battery life. I was assured that they made great improvements on the phone and I would be more than pleased with the S6. Not so fast...the battery on the S6 is actually far worse than any phone I've owned. I am less than a month in and have already returned the phone once for a replacement. I am about to do it again. I cannot get more than 18 hours out of one complete charge and that includes overnight when I am not using it. Also, the back of the phone is like a slip n slide. Do not lay it on any surface with anything greater than a 1% slope or it will instantly slide off onto the ground. What were they thinking with the back? I will need to find some kind of adhesive tape to apply to the back to prevent it from sliding off any non rubberized surface. I cannot believe more people aren't having battery issues with this product. If they could fix the battery problem, I could probably give this 4.5 stars but that issue alone is inexcusable.

    Better than the iPhone

I'm pretty sure the people who hate on this product are current iPhone users. I like the Samsung Galaxy S6 because it lets you completely change the theme, has 8 more camera megapixels than iPhone 6, and a ton of free apps. The battery is better as well, you can literally take it out of the phone and replace it with a charged one. A fair warning Android users, the S6 Edge will not be much different, just a slanted edge for notifications and some unnoticeable features. I'd suggest you to stick with the S6 for a better price.

This is my first smartphone and it's my new best friend. I use it as a dictionary, bible, to call and text, calendar, alarm, calculator, camera and music. I do not regret buying it. Since I've purchased it, I haven't had any problems with it. If I ever do need help I know where to go and that's Samsung counter at Best Buy. They installed updates for me, charged my battery while I was shopping at Best Buy and they showed me how to edit and move around favorite apps so it's easy to find. Plus the price and phone plan were affordable. Thanks Best Buy!

    Great Looking Phone, Fantastic Features

Love my Gold Samsung Galaxy S6. The color is definitely grown and sexy! I was worried about the internal (non-removable) battery...I loved having extra external batteries for my old Galaxies, and was not pleased that this phone was going the way of the iPhones with this battery. However, this hasn't been a problem! Battery life is good, and wireless pad charging capabilities have made charging a breeze. Read through your features to make the most of your phone..the fingerprint security is a fun option! Team Droid FTW.

I had an excellent experience at the Best Buy store as the salesperson was exceptional. She knew a great deal about the Samsung S6 and even helped me pick out the best protective case within my budget. I was hesitant at first to buy a cell phone from a retail store and not from the service provider I have, but after my experience at Best Buy I will not hesitate to buy from them again.

Nicely made phone. I like that the battery life is much longer than my previous S3 and its much faster, also. I don't like the idea that it doesn't have an SD Card slot, nor that they took one of the transmitters out of the phone so you can't use the internet while on a call.

    Phone does not last long

Please keep in mind my phone has not been dropped, soaked in water, or abused in anyway. I have even tried giving it hugs and whispering sweet nothings into its microphone, so its not like I haven't tried to play nice. The phone started having little issues about 15 days out from purchase, just after the return policy ended of course. Mostly it was minor annoyances, like the battery not making it through a work shift or not picking up wifi. But it didn't stop there. Now it shuts itself off constantly, to the point we have fights about not being able to turn on even after getting a full charge. The rare moment when it does decide to stay on for longer then 3 minutes, it likes to pull up random apps all by itself. I caught it one time turning the camera off and on. I use the phone a lot for work and home, and one time while stopping to assist a young lady in a car accident near Ocala, FL, it decided it didn't want to call 911, I had to coax it to do something it should have been easily able to do on it's worst day. I believe the phone is getting worse. It could be watching and waiting for it's moment to strike further fear into our hearts. Beware this phone reader.....beware.
