As it's a direct purchased from best buy.My mobile provider will not set it for me. Samsung tech couldn't fix it either

Was given a open box item that would not get signal. The phone is great but make sure it's the correct new item and not some accidental inventory they sell you.

Only worked for about a month

After about a month, it started shutting down by itself, overheating when I tried to use it, and being frequently unresponsive. I had to go back to my old phone which also had several issues while I shopped for a new one. It's a good thing that one sort of functioned, because the Samsung Galaxy certainly didn't.

If you buy directly from a carrier, you get the March Security patch and Android 7.0. If you buy unlocked, you're stuck wtih Android 6.0.1 and the December 2016 security update. (It's March people!). The phone itself is fine - the unlocked version is NOT recommended.

Could never reliably contact Verizon towers and could never send texts. BestBuy offered no support but took my return with no questions asked for $35 charge. Would have liked to keep the phone but since BB doesn't support it decided not to. Online forums and reviews note lots of issues with the unlocked S7.
