I like this model however the screen gets scratch easily unlike the s5 active. Compare my brand new one and old one, my new s7 active has a lot scratch already for only couple days having it. But my s5 active not much at all had it for 2 years.

I have nothing but dropped calls since I got this phone!! Never have any "bars", service is awful. I've been an AT&T customer for years because it's the only phone service that consistently works in our rural areas. My last phone was a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and it worked fine. Don't know what the problem is with this one, but I sure regret buying it! It's an awfully expensive paperweight!!

Downloads much slower than previous versions I have owned. Also having issues syncing with apps that have previously purchased items like Amazon Kindle Books.

I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE PHONE SCREEN. The screen was scratched within minutes of having the phone. Not a good screen. The phone gets hot instantly.

The phone itself is great. Practical and rugged but it seemed to lag when I tried to run too many things at once. Ended up going back to my iPhone.

The speaker to hear the other person on the side is crackling and you can't hear them at all. They can hear you though. Have to use blue tooth speaker or put it on speaker to place call. Samsung is making me send the phone in and that means I will be without a phone for 5 to 7 business days. Seems like a poor way of doing business. I currently own several Samsung products, but I will probably not buy any more in the future.

The Galaxy S7 Active is a fantastic phone and probably one of the best phones that will be released this year. It is durable, water resistant (took some great underwater pictures a few weeks ago), has a decent battery (will definitely get you through an entire 24HR day with moderate usage), a fantastic camera and expandable storage. I would whole heartedly recommend it to a friend (if they are on AT&T). I urge anybody researching this device to take any negative reviews with a grain of salt. The only issue I have had is with condensation buildup on the inside of the front facing camera, which lead to cloudy pictures. This happened on a really hot and humid day, and went away after putting it in a bag of rice for 12 hours. So, just be aware of this before buying. But, overall it is a solid and dependable device.

Very disappointed! Barely got it wet and keeps saying water detected or damage! Got it the very first day it was released! So much for being an "Active" phone! Not water proof, screen is chipped and barely had it over a month! Don't waste your time or money on this phone

Best phone of the year?

There was a lot of excitement around the launch of the new Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge models. As in the past, Samsung followed through with an Active model again and this time they pulled through. This phone sacrifices nothing in comparison to the other two models, in fact it offers more. More durability, a longer battery life, shatter resistant screen, and an extra programmable button. Samsung kept all the features of the S7 such as water resistance, super AMOLED screen, fingerprint sensor, wireless charging, and then added more. It's a shame that Samsung has sold off the exclusive rights to AT&T now for a few years so carriers are limited. If you're an AT&T customer this phone is worth taking a look at.

The only thing I found wrong with the phone was the fact that it was not as water resistant as it was supposed to be.
