Awesome battery, camera, system, ease of use and size

As a longtime Samsung customer, it was an easy choice to upgrade to the S8. The graphics are a step up from my S5 but it is the better battery and bigger storage that really make the difference in my day to day thusfar.

Switched from a Galaxy S5 to this S8. Love it! Very satisfied. It is very slim, elegant ... and slippery. With a glass front AND back, you best get a case!! The included USB type A to C cable supports charging, but not USB3 speeds. BUT the phone does support it. (When plugged into my laptop's USB3 SuperSpeed port, it says "This device could perform faster if plugged into a USB3 port"). The cable's the problem. A USB3.1 cable should fix this ... also am hoping the wireless charging will work thru a case.

The screen resolution is awesome and the processor is really fast. The camera is a lot faster and sharper that my old Samsung.'

Love this phone! Screen is amazing. Battery life is so much better than expected. Very fast. If you like Android, this is a great phone for you. Only inconvenience is the fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the phone, but I have gotten used to it, so it is no longer a problem for me. Overall great phone for the 1 month I've had it.

This phone has excellent battery life, takes amazing pictures and,the new Bixby digital assistant feature will blow your mind!

I was looking to replace a phone from a different manufacturer and as I was getting ready to pull the trigger on an S7, I jokingly asked when the S8 was due out. After a bit of hemming and hawing, I was told that it was scheduled for the spring of 2017. (I think the salesperson was worried about missing a sale.) No date had been set for release but I'm glad I waited. This device works great with both cars, Chromecast, as well as a smart TV. The VR has also been fun thus far. The Edge side menu is a great feature for favorite apps, weather, most used contacts and several other options that I have chosen to skip for now. My favorite feature is the fingerprint security. I hated having to mess with passwords and PINs just to access my own phone, especially at home. I like that nobody else can gain access, and at the same time, I don't feel like I have to ask for permission to check email or texts. I also use my device as a second backup for all of my Music, Photos and personal files. The extra storage is wonderful! I haven't even mentioned that the screen is beyond fantastic and the basic screens have a smooth look to them. Oh, I might add that if you ever need it, it's a phone too!

I had been hesitant to upgrade because the S7 didn't allow for adding an SD card, so I waited, and I am glad I did. The S8 is a great phone and very performant. I really like the form factor and how it sits in my hand. It was a huge jump up from my s5. I really like the new charger (USB3) and how fast it charges. I do not have any issues with this phone and I have owned it now for several months.

S8 is so simple to use and has so many more capabilities! The camera is amazing. Love the split screen multi functionality!

I switched from iPhone 6s and couldn't be more happy. The design is beautiful, got used to the finger scanner very fast and like the place they put it in. I can easily set up the phone the way I like. The camera makes beautiful pictures and the battery holds very well. No more looking back, Samsung Galaxy s8 is a great device.

In love with this phone. Battery life has improved over the generations of galaxy phone's! Excellent camera, user friendly!

This is a great upgrade from my Galaxy S6. I can go all day long without plugging it in which is great. Nice design also.

Switched from iPhone because of the deal offered. If you're looking for a full screen phone, this is as good as iPhone X, maybe better. Facial recognition, fingerprint recognition, iris recognition. Many of the same apps on iPhone are available for android. Nike+ Run app too! pair this with a Fitbit Ionic or FitBit Blaze just fine. No photo storage limit. You an swap out Micro SD cards, giving you up to 128 GB storage too. I didn't realize switching from an iPhone would be so easy.

Upgraded from an S5. The display is beautiful. I find the fingerprint reader easy to use. Texting seems easier to use.

Still the best cell phone in my opinion. Camera is getting better, speaker still is pretty lame. To be 100% honest I like the S-7 size and screeen better. I'm not a fan of the screen rounding on the sides.

Very hard to change from IPhone 6 because we intended on waiting for IPhone 8. Took the plunge and very pleased with S8, very fast, simple and can't say we will be going back to iphone.

This phone is rated as the top smart phone and I can see why. My last phone was a Samsung S5, so this one is a big upgrade. It holds a charge for two days, the camera takes excellent pictures (this is coming from a long time Canon user), and so easy to use. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new phone.
