I had a note 4 and was reluctant to get an updated one due to the problems they had with their battery. I have enjoyed my samsung s and have had no problems with it.

I recently wanted to make the switch from iOS to Android. I the phone was very attractive and a great price so I gave it a try. The build was great but in the end I ended up returning it for a Pixel. The pixel was just a lot more straight forward and intuitive.

My husbands' S6 Samsung fell out of his pocket face down on cement and the screen was smashed. No light or sound. He bought the new Silver S8 and absolutely loves it.

The Galaxy S8 is a nice upgrade from the S& Edge. It takes a little getting use to on its functionality. Caution - get a case! It is all glass and hard to hold onto.

I have always been excited and happy for the latest and greatest, my only complaint was switching the charger cable type. Photo quality is BEYOND expectations.

Good phone not great! Samsung enthusias. Bixby is junk and talk to text feature has a serious lag if it even works at all! Look at all the android choice out there before purchasing. Would not recommend for the price.

Overall the phone is pretty impressive, but the fingerprint scanner doesn't seem to work reliably. Lotta comments about this on the forums. Maybe related to recent software updates? Samsung seems either unconcerned or clueless, but either way it's really annoying.

Like the phone does a lot that the 6 didn't do. But some data did not get transferred and I find some of the new apps hard to use. But, I am a up the ladder senior and not really up as I could be on this new tech stuff. all in all it is a great phone and camera.

As always, Samsung produces the BEST cell phones. You will not be unhappy if you purchase this phone. Love the android system much better than the Apple phones!

The phone was suggested to me by Best Buy employees. I like it very much, but there are some aspects that are different from my last phone. However, I chose Samsung because there people at Best Buy who are able to answer questions or give tutorials on Samsung products.

Loving my Samsung 8 so far! Was happy to get lower monthly payments by purchasing from Best Buy. Great customer service, and a free wireless phone charger as an add-on!

Really enjoying all the features of the phone. Only issue I have is the side menu, it's a little difficult to access. I'm sure I just need to fine tweak things.

Still learning all the new features. No problems at this point other than the curved screen doesn't take a glass protector shield very well. Will look at a flexible plastic protector to see if it's any better.

Upgrading from an S5, I was torn between the S8 and the S8+. I couldn't justify the extra cost for .4" with every other spec the same. Very happy with the purchase.

So far I like it. Takes some time to get use to the home button. Not as bulky as the 7. Screen has got me a little worried but I'll just have to be careful with it.

Upgrade my wife's phone to the S8 and she loves it. She previously had a samsung, but went with Motorola last time and has been waiting to get a samsung again

Good product. But I don't get what all the hype is about the curved edge, especially since any kind of shock-proof case will hide it.

Wish I still had my S7. I haven't found a way to protect the curved screen without a bulky and impractical case. Screen covers pop off every time the edge is a bumped and there are NO benefits to Bixby.

I bought this phone for my wife.. she likes it so much being her first smart phone. she loves how many features there is and how she can customized them...

Samsung nailed it with this one! Ease of access, security, and improved water resistance make this their best product to date. You can't go wrong with this phone.
