OK, it's been a couple year now. This was my first android phone after switching from Apple. It's not bad, but there's a few things I'm not best pleased with. First is the curved display. I get the idea that I could have it face down and see some notification. I can say I never do this. I don't know anybody that does. What good is the curved display? It's a pain trying to get a case for it. It makes it easier to scratch. It's really not a great "feature". Second is Samsung itself. Nobody asked for Bixby. I know a lot of Samsung users. Nobody uses Bixby. Everybody disables the button. Supposedly they've finally made it so that it can be reassigned but only through their Bixby software and it's buried deep. Third is their battery management. Samsung tries to prolong battery life by managing apps while they function in the background. The result is that any managed app has a good chance of not working with things like android auto, or if you have a music app running in the background it might just randomly quit working. Samsung is a titan for the android world and they make decent phones. I think everybody wishes there was a big company (like Samsung) that was more concerned with what customers want instead of pushing what Samsung wants the customer to have. One last thought is that Samsung is not famous for long term support. For example this was their flagship phone a couple years back and they're not going upgrade it to Android 10.

I've only had the phone for a couple weeks, but I love it so far. Switched from an I-phone, would recommend.

Samsung has so many features, there is no way to know how to do all that the phone can do. But it is simple enough to do all that I can dream of to do.

The battery life is so much better than expected, call clarity is wonderful & I have no complaints. We have 4 samsung phones and truly love this model.

The S8 was an upgrade from a S6. The camera is awesome! It takes amazing pictures! Screen protectors do not work properly. Overall great functionality.

Super clear display. Excellent smartphone. Wireless charging works very well, even with Tech21 soft case on the phone. Clear calls. Excellent cameras.

This is a great looking phone and fits great in my hand. I thought I would really miss the physical home button, but Samsung has done a great job of integrating it into the screen. I'm not a fan of the fingerprint scanner being on the back of the phone as it makes it impossible to unlock my phone with my fingerprint while it's sitting on my desk or table. Overall, a fast, great phone.

Phone fits in my hand well. Lightweight. Good sound. I have a little trouble on the edge of the phone getting reading or typing because the letter/number rolls over the side a slight bit. I switched from an LG3 so there is a slight learning curve.

Bought this phone for my wife after purchasing the Samsung S8+ for myself. She likes the smaller size which fits her hand better, but otherwise it's basically the same phone. Curiously, since I bought my phone 8 months ago they have made some subtle changes to the software, but still functions the same. Like the fast processor speed and good internet connections.

Have the S8+ for myself, got this for the Girlfriend. Love the phones

Purchased a Samsung Galaxy S8. It replaced my Samsung Galaxy S5. What a phone! All I can say is WOW!!!!

Coming from a samsung note 5, it was an easy adjustment. Love the phone so far. Pros: Battery lasts forever. Camera is great. Front facing flash. Lightweight & thin. Cons: The extra side button for Bixby (phone assistant). I'm always accidentally hitting it. I haven't found a way to disable it yet. Not a fan of the 'edge panels'. I'm always accidentally swiping it (but i can see where it could be useful for someone who wants quick access to favorite callers and other apps). Overall, i love the phone...just trying to get used to some of the added buttons.

This phone was purchased as a gift for my son. He had been a Motorola droid user for years. He is pleased with the new Samsung phone and features.

So far with having this phone, I love it. It has more features than my S6. I love how it looks more clearer and I can do and access so much more.
