I have just had my Galaxy S8 for two weeks. There are many things I like about the phone, such as the quality and features of the camera. The curved screen is, to me, not a good design. When there are items, icons, text, etc. that have to be touched that are on the edge of the screen, it can be difficult to have the item respond to touch. Also, moving an app shortcut from one page to another by holding a finger on it and sliding it can be difficult as when one gets to the edge, it often doesn't want to move to the adjacent screen. Also, I installed some files on the phone. As there was no 'Documents' or 'My Documents' folder. Samsung customer service advised to create a folder 'Documents' and I did and installed the files. A couple of days later, the files disappeared and a 'My Documents' folder appeared and I had to move files to the phone again. Also, a folder I installed doesn't show up when I access the documents, but the files and sub-folders do show up. Many of the functions of the phone have improved considerably over my former Galaxy Note 3.

Great upgrade, not too big so it still fits in my hand and my purse nicely. Still exploring the features!

Best phone I've ever had, by far! Battery life is outstanding. Camera has so many great features and is as good as advertised. I still don't really get the draw to the infinity screen though..

Expected the changeover on Christmas to take hours and be a big inconvenience. However, a quick call to Verizon (surprise) and the phone had its SIM card in and making calls. Besides some quirks on importing calendars, the only thing missing was the "smart alarm." Like the edge display and size.

My son & daughter both got S8 phones for $420 & each one came with a samsung gear watch which they both LOVE! Best buy had excellent customer service & overall it was a fantastic experience!

Overall I like my phone. It is much faster than my old phone. I really don't care for the curved screen.

We got the new S8 for my wife. Her S4 was shot. She is enjoying the new phone. Everything works as it should. The call quality is very nice and the screen looks great. The phone is very fast.

Being a former iPhone user, I wanted to switch to the Android platform. I am blown away by how much more it does than an iPhone. I am so glad I switched!

Purchased to replace Galaxy 6 that had battery issues from day 1. This new 8 has a long lasting battery. Quick interfacing with apps and the internet. Purchased glass protective case.

I've had this phone for about 9 months now and I love it. It is so fast. The battery last a long time and I love the fast charge. It only take an hour and a half to charge fully.

Easy to activate and to transfer files from old phone to new phone. The larger screen is nice and it is so easy to set ringtones for contacts. Easy to use and easy to read the screen.

It was time to upgrade from the old S4 model. The new phone is sleeker in design and runs much quicker. The sound is much clearer which is great for my aging ears. I love this phone!

Replaced my Samsung 5 with the new Samsung Galaxy 8 and I am very pleased with all the upgrades. It has a full screen and camera takes beautiful pictures and Bixby is a great new feature.

Best phone I have ever used. Battery life is great and the screen is amazing. I must own. Of course best buy also had the best deals and promotions. Ty again for awesome customer service.

Had a s6 before this. Can honestly say Samsung outdid themselves again. Great battery life and very fast. Couldn't ask for a better phone because I don't know what they could improve on

So it's been a year, and newer versions of the Galaxy are available. I'm still very happy with the S8, and I'm very glad I took the plunge. I've been with Samsung for my last three phones, and will continue my loyalty. This phone does everything required for me to function without wifi at home. When necessary, I run my Samsung tablet from the Hotspot, and can run my laptop from it as needed. Without wifi, I can download documents to my phone, then tether the S8 to my laptop to print. The only thing that requires data is the original document download. So, for my needs, the S8 fits the bill. Can recommend, and would buy again.

Bought this awesome phone for my wife who was a long time iPhone enthusiast. It was an easy switch. She loves the screen and ease of use. Very happy with Samsung!

Only had the phone a few days but it reminds me of the phone I used to have which was a Galaxy s3.I loved my s3 and then it died. I didn't like the s5 or the s7 and I was going to switch to Motorola until the kid at Best Buy told me how Samsung improved their phone. I'm glad I listened.

The S8 looks so much more classy than the S6 and it also has so many more features. I think the curved screen makes the device easier to read and also makes it look classier.

Great phone, battery, screen, and size. Easy to setup. Great call clarity and sound. Wow they have come a long way. This is a pocket pc....and a high quality digital camera too!
