Really love this new phone. If there was one change it would be the battery life. But still tweaking it, turning off apps that came installed, etc so hopefully it will get better.

Been using this phone for a few months now, generally happy with the performance and battery life. For the most part you don't need to worry about it lasting through the day, though keeping a fast charger around is a good idea. When charging it charges VERY fast, which is a major plus. Software wise, I'm happy with the "always on display" while I turn most every other Samsung feature off, including the annoyingly-named "bixby". One stupid thing is if you choose to use the Google assistant instead of the evil "bixby", you won't be able to say "Ok google" when the screen is off. Hopefully Samsung allows this at some point in the future.

So far I love this phone. The screen is great, the phone is fast. Love the AOD. Pictures are awesome.

This phone is awesome. Great screen. Great functionality. Love that it comes with 64 gigs of storage.

Upgraded from LG, much faster, Sound is great. Ear phone is very comfortable. Camera is super.

Even without the great deal I got with this phone I would be satisfied. I was promised better reception, better connection, and faster service. All true as an upgrade from my S6.

I was hesitant to purchase a Samsung 8 , as I had my Samsung 5 for so long. The added value and features of the Samsung 8 are great. One of the ones you don't think about was the ease of the fingerprint access feature of the S8 over the S5 is incredible. Overall performance of apps running on the S8 made me a believer in this model. Will there be new models...yes...but this one is a great one to have for the next 2-3 years.

I have no complaints with the phone. It's slim and sleek. It's also very fast. The camera is amazing.

Easy to use. Light weight and fits in one hand. Camera is excellent taking ultra clear pics with amazing color quality. Only negative, I've had to restart the phone after freezing.

Great features, excellent camera, ear phones are better than before. Easy you use. It's a must have.

I came from an android and it was an easy switch. Love the phone camera and long battery life!

This was an upgrade from S4. The transfer of contacts done in the store was incomplete, but an app I found easily transferred all contacts from S4 to S8. The camera has some cool features. Notification sounds are all different than previous phone, so there is a learning curve. Love the blue color!

I'm so glad I upgraded my phone. I've had galaxy phones for years & I love this one so much! I love the edge screen & how thin the phone is. I love all of the upgraded features!

Always use Samsung and it never disappoints. Light and fast with a great screen

Great picture and easy to use. Thought I'd miss the physical home button but I don't miss it at all!

Pretty awesome phone. The edge is a bit annoying. I keep touching it and things happen even though I disabled it. The case helps. The one really big issue I have is the 10minute limit to record UHD video. QHD has no limit but I want as high def as possible to record a 2 hour performance. Not possible. The gearvr is AMAZING!! Get one if you can. The lack of a real button for home takes some getting use to. I miss feeling a click. The size of the phone makes one handed texting harder even with the shrink ability. If I knew someone with monster size giant hands I would definitely recommend. Otherwise sure I would recommend.

This is the best phone. I absolutely love it. I chose the Samsung Galaxy 8 for my 1st smart phone because it was the latest version, and am obsessed with all its great features.
