Using the retina scanner to unlock the phone is really cool & it's amazing how fast it works. Only issue with the phone is that with the extra tall screen when you watch videos you either have to stretch the video or settle for black bars on the side.

I have been a loyal android fan - specifically to the Galaxy, but they was all ruined with the edge being incorporated. It does not serve any functional purpose that cannot be achieved by pressing the apps button or by sliding up on the screen to open the apps drawer. It is however a HUGE NEGATIVE due to how fragile the screen is. It may be scratch resistant, but don't drop it from any height on any surface. I purchased an Otterbox Defender and dropped my phone 18 inches from my coat pocket to the floor, and it looks like it took a bullet. Absolutely disgusted with the screen design and lack of practicality. Will not buy another Galaxy as long as the edge is part of the design!

Bought for wife and she doesn't like change she immediately loved it and she is not going back to a smaller screen size

The only problems with this phone is there is no decent screen protector that works with a case and when you use it without a case so your screen protector stays on then you touch the edges and is hard to use as whatever you touch on the edge pops up.

I miss pure android and wish they kept the software up to date. That said everything about this phone is an improvement.

Only complaint is placement of fingerprint reader. Try iris scanner and other means but fingerprint sucks on this phone.

I LOVE this phone. Had the Samsung S7 Edge Rose Gold and did not like it at all. To many issues. This one is AWESOME!!!

It is incredible how much phones have evolved with the passing of the years. This is the best phone there is right now.

the buttons being gone are definitely something to get used to but this phone rocks through anything you throw at it.

All in all I am very satisfied. There is a bit of a learning curve with bixby but it will be a valuable asset to have.
