I pre-ordered the S8 after learning about the advancements that Samsung had announced for their new flagship model. And I have to say that this phone certainly lives up to every word of the hype. The display is gorgeous, the user interface is pleasing, the camera is flawless, the security measures (iris & fingerprint scanners) work effortlessly and the body is just elegant. I cannot find a single flaw for this phone apart from the fingerprint scanner placement. The phone fits well in my hand and I find it kind of hard to believe that this body could fit such a large screen.

I am not one who upgrades phones every year. I keep them until they die and I am forced to upgrade. Coming from a galaxy S4, the S8+ is a great phone and I am very happy with it! There isn't one thing I don't like about the phone. It's very user-friendly. The photos it takes are awesome! And the battery life, in spite of all the processing it has going on, is amazing! I use my phone for work all day and l still have a good % left at night. Now if Zagg would make a decent screen protector for this awesome phone, but that has nothing to do with the phone itself.

Love this phone. I have owned many phones, and state this is the best phone I've had to date. Great resolution, ability to connect in bad areas, great features, and ability to take notes and sketch with pen. Only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that I sometimes push buttons/links with my fingers on the curved edges, phone is super slippery, and the stupid Bixby button that can't be used for other tasks.

I'm a big Samsung Customer, and when the S8 plus came out, I knew I'd have to get it. I've had every Samsung phone that came out starting with the original Note. The S8 Plus has the best battery to date. I can get my phone to 100%, and not have to work about having to recharge till end of day. I use my phone alot for work, like email, time clocks, excel and just overall social media. Camera is Amazing in any lighting condition, and having Bixby is even better. If you want a quality phone, that stands out from the rest, a must get!

I was eligible for an upgrade from my S6 and I have been with the galaxy series for a while now so the obvious choice for me was the s8. Once I saw the screen on the S8 plus though I couldn't help myself. I had to go for the plus. The screen is gorgeous. Seriously, put this thing in high performance mode and watch some 4k content on YouTube. I streamed a beautiful 4K aquarium video simultaneously on my 60" 4K tv and this phone and the image was noticeably sharper and the colors poppier (is that a word) on the phone. Gorgeous. I like being able to just swipe up for the apps I don't have on my screens. From the reviews I've seen on YouTube and from what the best buy guy told me most people don't use the "edge" apps and just turn that function off but I think that's what I use the most. That's where I keep all the apps I use on a regular basis; the calculator, tip calculator, Amazon music, the Keep app for my shopping list, the Reminder app for scheduled reminders and my games folder. I'm horrible about thinking of something I need to get at the store and then forgetting what it was within minutes. I love that my shopping list is available with the flick of a finger or if I'm busy I can just say "ok google, add to keep shopping list..." and google will add it for me. Maybe someday Bixby will be able to do that but for now, like most others, I have no use for Bixby. So far I haven't had too many issues with accidentally hitting the Bixby button. Like most others have said the main real drawback with this phone is the fingerprint scanner. It's just in a really bad spot. Maybe the S8 one works better? I don't know. The fingerprint scanner worked perfect on my S6. I rarely ever had to try more than once. This one NEVER reads my fingerprint on the first try. Most of the time not even the second or third try. The face and iris scanner work ok but still not as good as the fingerprint scanner on my S6. If you use Samsung pay as your primary payment method this might not be the phone for you. I used Samsung pay occasionally on my old phone but the few times I've tried it on this phone I've found it to be extremely frustrating trying to fumble around to get my fingerprint or irises read while there's a line of people behind me waiting. It's much quicker to just pull out my card. Overall this isn't a deal breaker for me. I have a few days left to return the phone but I think I'll be hanging onto it. With Best Buys $200 off plus $114 for trading in my S6 I got a good deal with the taxes covered and a curved edge glass screen protector. Best Buy didn't have a big selection of cases but for like $10 on Amazon I got a pretty clear case with a white lacey pattern around the edges that shows off that beautiful orchid grey color.

I have been coming to BestBuy for years for all my mobile setup and account issues. You would have to literally pay me to step foot into an AT&T store with the intent of resolving an issue or getting a good deal. Going through BestBuy not only offers me increased insurance coverage for my devices, it gives me piece of mind knowing that there is a competent staff that cares more about the customer than the bottom line for their commission. Thanks so much BestBuy Mobile and GeekSquad for always providing top notch service.

I have had many phones over the 20 years of wireless service, and a good portion of those phones were Samsung. They seem to hold up to all sorts of wear and tear and remain functional. This phone seems to be the best choice yet. The features are abundant, and the navigation is a breeze. The screen is large and fully visible with less than perfect eyes. While there were some great additions and changes with the phone since my last model, I have found that the new options and additional applications are useful and beneficial.

I upgraded from an S6 and I am in love with this phone. I had previously purchased the S6 Edge when it came out and I hated the edge and how it rolled the edges of photos off. The changes for the S8 Plus are great, though. The edge is fine and rolls off nicely. I love the taller screen, which works very well with split apps, like a calculator and something else, for example. Battery life, so far, is amazing and the new USB-C cable rocks. I hated having to buy all new cables, but now that I have them, I love them.

The Galaxy S8+ is a very nice looking phone that performs just as well. Even those this phone has a 6.2" screen is doesn't feel that big in the hands. The display is top of the line and looks amazing having HDR and 2K resolution. This is the first phone to feature Bluetooth 5.0 which will be a big improvement over current Bluetooth. The fingerprint reader is in an unusual spot but it works perfectly fine and I have had no issues not being able to reach it. Overall this is probably the best phone on the market right now.

This phone is my first Android phone (I have owned Blackberries, Nokia's, IPhones and Microsoft phones) and I am seriously impressed by the hardware. I like others am not impressed with the location of the fingerprint reader but with the iris scanner I rarely need to use it. Also there are cases out the that help you find the fingerprint location easier. The screen is absolutely fantastic. The curved screen is not a hindrance and does make the phone feel extremely thin. The phone feels very solid and definitely has a premium feel to it. The profile as to being longer instead of wider is fantastic and gives a lot of screen real estate. As probably seen on multiple drop test sites, you will want a case for the phone to keep the device scratch free. I use a very thin low profile case as to not lose the astetics of the phone. I have dropped a couple of times with no issues. The only issues I have so far is finding a good tempered glass screen cover. I have to use wet application right now until someone makes a good tempered glass application that doesn't cost $50. From a software stand point the Android software is good. Open source is nice and works well. I like having options when customizing my home screen. I also like having a choice of which default application to use when executing certain things. Overall it is the best phone out there right now and with the$100 off when I preordered it is worth the price.

I have to admit, it was hard to get used to this phone because I loved my Note 4 and heavily relied on it features. But once I did, I realized this is a far superior device. Easy to use, great camera, unmatched video quality, and my finger replaces the stylus of the Note 4. From pictures, to videos, to pdf's, to sound, you can't match the quality of this device. Sorry IPhone lovers, do the unbiased research and you will find the Galaxy 8+ beats the IPhone in quality, hands down!

This galaxy 8 pulse is a beautiful phone it has a very slike design and feels great in my hand. And battery life on this thing is amazing I can be on it all day and still have more then 50% by night time in all it truly is a great phone so far the only 2 downsides are the phones updates it has and that the screen is so big that its like a big target which is scary i actually broke my first screen and had to get another but in all I love this phone and would highly recommend.

Upgraded from the Galaxy s6 edge plus. Loved that phone but had good promotion going on for this one and had to jump on it. Already saw a few co-workers with them and I had to have one. Not one bad thing to say about it. The screen even appears to be more fingerprint resistant. My S6 attracted everything! The infinity screen is unreal how good it looks. Battery life is great. Didn't know it used usb-c but comes with adapter from my old USB cable to usb-c along with a cable

If your goal is to purchase the absolute best, latest and greatest phone currently on the market, the Galaxy S8+ meets that criteria. The screen is large, yet the width is narrow enough to comfortably hold in your hand. It has 64GB of on-board storage, and a micro SD slot to boost it even more. I'm still learning what all this phone can do and I got it on the release date of April 21. I'm very satisfied and plan to keep this for probably 5 years before I upgrade again.

I bought this as a replacement for my Note 4 since the Note 7 seems to be a incendiary device. After setting everything up and using for a week now I like it much better. It is sleeker and seems faster so far and I do like the new features like the apps edge making my most used apps readily accessible even when using other apps instead of having to exit and scroll to find.
