Camera is great. Fast wireless charging is a big plus. Most curved glass screen protectors lift up or fall off. The biggest issues with this phone are: Samsung auto-correct is aggravating, and the display, which looks awesome, is not very durable. I had mine in the Samsung branded Cover Case, yet the edge still cracked when the phone slid over and tapped against my laptop on the seat of my vehicle.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 plus, is one of the most amazing smartphones of 2017. This particular device, has all the latest specs and features in a slick, new shape. I have been a Samsung user for years, they kicked serious butt on this. Get it if you don't have it already!

Great Android phone! Only drawback is the Bixby function...would be nice to be able to program the button for other apps.

came from a Nexus 5x and was worried about the interface but really it's not bad. The only thing is the inaccurate and poorly placed fingerprint reader that spoils a well designed device. got a thin case that outlines the reader to help with that (do consider that when you are buying a case, don't get one that simply outlines the entire combination of the flash camera and fingerprint reader) with all the deals these days getting this down to well under $600 it was a no Brainer.

This is a really good phone. I like the updates that have been done to this phone. I love the big screen.

Love this new phone. It cracked already with my case. My 6 was dropped numerous times and never cracked though.

I upgraded from a Note 2 to a Samsung 8+; the decision was a difficult one to make since most of my family have iPhones . . . I live in a house divided - 3 iPhones; 3 Samsungs - 1 Samsung by default due to a broken iPhone with no funds available to purchase a new one.

I am switching from Iphone 6s to this and have enjoyed the change so far. The cloud had caused all kinds of problems and was tired of the limitations of iphone. Have really enjoyed the apps and flexibility of this phone. Wireless charging is pretty kick butt as well.

Great phone, amazing screen clarity. Switched from Sony Xperia zv3 to Samsung s8+ and couldn't be happier with the purchase. Only problem was the initial setup of the phone. Best buy agent failed to port the right number disconnecting my wife's phone for a short time.

Returned for the unlocked version without bloat ware. Wish Samsung would tell the carriers to keep there hands off unnecessary apps like Apple does on there phone. Still might be worth going with a carrier phone because of the incentives over the regular unlocked s8.

My experience at best buy was not great . I went in on tje 3rd and ask would they like for me to come back the next day because of all the photos and videos I had he said no. only to be told 45 minutes later it was taking to long to download can I come back tomorrow!

No issues yet. I have seen several reviews complaining about the fingerprint reader being in a bad spot near the camera. I like it much better and find using the fingerprint from the rear to be easier. I havent' had a problem with smudgy photos either. Would buy again

I upgraded from a S6 to the S8+ and the whole process went much smoother this time. Everything was on the new phone when I went looking for it and while it's very similar to the S6 it has lots of new features which I'm still learning. And the full screen is awesome!

I am still trying to learn all of the things this phone can do but so far I really like it. The finger print scanner is in the back of the phone and it is a lot more convinient rather than the front. I switched from the 6 edge + to the 8+ And I do like the 8+ better.

After watching several video reviews online regarding this latest generation of Galaxy S phone, I decided it was going to be a good replacement to the S5's we had. The gorilla glass on the back is thinner than on the front, so you should still get a protective case.

I lost my Samsung Note 4 a few weeks ago and needed to get a new phone. I was hoping to keep my old phone until the new Google Pixel or Note 8 came out later this year. Since I couldn't wait any longer, I got the S8+ and it has turned out to be a really good phone.

So, I'm coming from an iPhone 6s plus. The last Galaxy I had was an S4 and it was terrible. Switched back to iphone after 3 months. But this S8+ is amazeballs. I'm so glad I gave Android another chance. If this phone doesn't lag on me, I'll be sticking with Android!

What an amazingly awesome device! The screen clarity and resolution are incredible, no words to describe how simply amazing the display is. Digitizer is responsive and precise. Integration with the power and features of the new Android Nugat O/S is almost flawless.
