I enjoyed this phone and I only traded in because of some new feature in the S10+ that I wanted.

I like the phone a lot. I have always been a fan of android and Samsung. This phone feels like a great step forward.

Picked this up after my note got wet and died. It's nice to have a phone with water resistance now.

This phone is bad a$$, it does all I could ever hope for and more. Samsung has stepped up their game with this one.

I love this phone. However it did fail before the two years was up. Geek squad replaced it.

I like the size of the Samsung S8+. It fits nicely in my jean pockets without being clunky or awkward. The battery life if terrible. I had greater expectations for this version of the phone.

Owned the S6 so when it came time to purchase a new phone the S8+ was a no-brainer. Best smartphone on the market!

I love my phone i have now had it for over a year and i still do not see the point to upgrade yet.

Do not believe Corning's boasts about Gorilla Glass 5, being able to be dropped onto concrete from shoulder height. Maybe on a Note 7, but the S8 is weak. One drop from 2 feet up at a hotel, WITH an insignia S8+ protector... and CRACK...$275 plus plus for a new screen please. Other Samsung annoyances.. not only is "Bixby" an annoying joke but every 5 minutes a "Bixby has closed" message displays. Other apps are always closing. This phone was released too soon. Apple doesnt do that. Then there is the size, I got the + because its rated at over 6 inches. Well this 5.7" LG V20 Im writing on dwarfes the S8+. The S8+ is not the "Next big thing" its a one size fits most compromise. Kind of like a lot of cops think 45's are better guns but the issued gun is a 9mm to accomodate all officers. A compromise. The expanding screen, used for youtube etc doesnt work. Maybe for one or two videos then it gets short and narrow again. Its like 2015 was the golden age for good big screens. Battery life is blah. Missing cool features of phones half its price like two camera lenses or a Hi Fi 24 bit Dac. Some people hate any "edge" design and they dont offer a non-edge anymore. Way overpriced..I guess phone prices will never go down? Finally there is the issue of processing power. Im a serious power user and upgraded to a Quallcomm 835 chip in the S8 from my LGV20 which was lagging hard in typing and multitasking with its Qualcomm 821 chip. Well the s8 was just as bad, barely better on Antutu, and both chips still lag behind Apples processors, and will lag WAY behind when the new iPhone is released. Don't waste your money on this phone. Huawei Honor 8, LG G6 or V20, on One 3 and other phones are 99% as good or better.

Good camera but the phone is not that great it's above average for a Samsung but I could have waited to get this phone. Now it's only been 1 month and the charger is already breaking. smh.

this phone is better than the iPhone it has the front flash that the iPhone doesn't even have. great move samsung

I freaking love samsung! Super awesome phone. Beautiful display! The added vr for free for preordering was a plus!

So far I'm still impressed with this phone. I'm really glad Samsung went back to having a SD micro card onboard!

Took some time to get the S8 phone set up to send e-mails with spectrum internet / e-mail. Worked with Samsung tech (at the store) and spectrum reps to get my e-mail working. seems they had issues in the past with set up to send e-mails.

I have had this phone for about a month now. So far, so good. I love the HD Video playback and the screen is so crisp and clear! I haven't had any problems to date and am liking it so far.

Our 16 year old talked us into buying this phone despite being IPhone users for many years. She loves the phone!
