This newest Samsung Galaxy phone is sweet. The design is sleek and screen is very clear. There are plenty of new options for taking photos. I love the fact I can add more memory to the phone. The VR experience is cool.

My first cell phone was the iPhone 1, my first Samsung was the Galaxy S3; since then I've been team Android. With every new phone Samsung unveils, I grow more fond of Samsung's relentless pursuit of advancing the; quality, durability, and ease of use for their Galaxy Line. Getting the Galaxy S8+ is one of the best decisions I've made in terms of investment for a cell phone. The camera is great, screen resolution is perfect, bixby is now very helpful and useful and I don't know what I would have done without a head phone port. Along with the phone getting a slight design change from the S7, it fits better in your hand, and with the new charging port, you don't have to insert the charge cable right side up. I'm in love with this phone. Thanks Samsung.

Upgraded from a s7edge and it is better in every way the battery last longer the phone is faster the Bluetooth works better and the screen is amazing. The iris scanner and finger print scanner are very fast as well.

The infinity screen is amazing, smooth, and sleek.

This phone truly has a great camera and all of the newest features. I have had one major problem that I have yet to be resolved even through I have spent no less than 4 hours talking 2 customer service. The timeout choices do not offer never probably because it has smart stay which keeps your phone from timing out as long as you are looking at the screen. This is a problem if you like to use smart view. If you use this application to watch movies by connecting your tv 2 your phone then you are not looking at the screen on the phone and therefore the phone will timeout and show your lock screen at the most every 10 minutes. I have been told each of the 3 times that timeout can not be disabled and that when the smart view feature is working that the phone should not timeout but it does. I just think with a price tag just a little short of $1000 that it is unacceptable for the samsung customer service rep to tell me something so simple is not fixable. I want all of my applications to work properly or for samsung to make it work properly. It is ok, but not as good as I was hoping for

So far, very happy with the G8 Plus. I wasn't sure about the larger size vs. the G8 and how it would fit in my pocket, but I went with the 8+ because of the bigger battery. It was worth the tradeoff! Unlike my old G6, which would typically die by about 7 pm even with location turned off, the 8+ has consistently had 35-50% left when I go to bed. The larger screen size and the screen resolution makes viewing easier, and makes using the split screen feature practical, and it still fits comfortably in my pocket. I haven't made much of an effort to use the edge features or Bixby, so I can't comment on those. All in all, the reasons I bought the 8+ have panned out, and my concerns have been allayed. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Upgraded from a Samsung 5s, to the 8+ great improvement in all aspects just wish my carrier had a better backup process its a disgrace after all these years & the high price of the phone the best can do to recover phone content are contacts & numbers, even that is Poor with contact returned with the wrong numbers ?..

I got this phone the day it came out. Must say that it is great. Screen, and pictures are high quality. The battery is wonderful. Easy to use. Plus it has stood up to more drops then my Galaxy 7 edge did.

Haven't used all the features yet, but so far this is the best Samsung phone I have owned. Setup was easy and I love the built in quick charge capability (charger sold separately). Battery life is good and the screen is crisp and clear. Feels good in your hand and big enough for those who have large hands. Highly recommend this phone. The "BEST BUY" Blue color is nice too!

I really like my new Samsung Galaxy S8+ phone!! Hadn't really thought about replacing my Galaxy S7, but in talking with the Verizon Rep at Best Buy....When I bought the S8+, my monthly payment went down $10 per month because of the Black Friday special that they had! Can't beat that! Great phone, great service!

Love the phone. I traded in my Samsung galaxy 7 for this phone and havent put it down. I wanted the note 7 but since it was having so many problems I decided I would give Samsung another try and glad I did. Now just waiting for the note 8 to come out so I can upgrade my iphone 6 plus so I can be totally in the Samsung family lol. The camera is awesome. The apps are wonderful and the size us great ( I got the 8plus). Just make sure you get a case and a glass screen protector to protect your phone and play with your phone as much as possible to learn all the great features. I got my phone during the time best buy was running a special where I got a free gift with mine so I am enjoying the perks with my phone...

I recently replaced my LG V1 with the Samsung S8+. So far I am very pleased. The phone is very fast, has good battery life and a great camera. Multi-tasking is a breeze due to the fast processing speeds. The display is amazing. I have not been able to fully discover all of the features of this phone yet, but I am really enjoying discovering its power and usability daily.

I am coming from a windows phone, which let me say I'd still prefer to own, but Microsoft has pretty much killed it. Fingers crossed it will have a big comeback soon. With that out of the way, I'd say this is a great phone, hardware wise. It is slick looking, really nice feel in the hand. Amazingly light and the display just pops and is beautiful to look at. It is waterproof (which has come in handy a few time now :)). My biggest gripe with the phone is probably due to the software or just being Android. You need to know what you are doing to keep this phone running smoothly which really is against meeting the needs of most customers. I know enough to manage the apps, memory and storage and keep it running smoothly like the first day I bought it. If you don't know how to manage that on a daily basis, then your phone will be slow and skip and likely eat up more battery then necessary. This is my issue, the phone is so new and has what should be the best internals, but yet it is slowing down!! This is where iOS and Windows phone excel, they run just as smooth as the first day you bought them two years later, you loose battery of course over time. This phone has been impressing me with battery life, really does last more than all day for my usage which I never got out of my last phone.

Almost bought the s7 but decided to go with the s8 because the screen was pretty amazing. Love the screen but I can still easily hold the phone in my hand. Speed, camera, screen - all very impressive.

The 8+ is awesome. Size is perfect for me. Slightly bigger than my Note 5 & 7 in my hand. It's fast, brilliant display. I have no problem with the fingerprint sensor on the back. I love this phone!

Been a long time samsung note user. Never used the stylus so I tried the s8+ so much better than note 5. I get phone and wifi signals where never before and battery life is amazing, almost 2 days. I don't love the aspect ratio of the phone, long and narrow, but I'm getting used to it. Very Pleased.

Phone is flawless. Looks flawless, runs flawless with a flawless screen. Size of the Galaxy S8+ is perfect! On average I can get nearly 36 hours of use out of a single charge. I love this phone!

I held it for about ten minutes (Maybe?) then my wife traded me for her Note 5, She hasn't offered to trade back. It is a Great phone, Of course the next one out will probably be better, seems they always are, Once you get to understand Just about everything the phone can do It's time for a new one.

Not fond of the curved edges because screen protectors don't protect them well. But I'm satisfied with the battery life and it's functions. Glad it's not a requirement to do facial recognition or fingerprint, pin is still an option.
