I switched from an iphone. I've always loved the Samsung camera so when I went to the store I decided to trade in for a Samsung. I love this phone. The picture is amazing and it's easy to use. Hard to believe I stayed with iphone for so long. Both are great but I love this phone.

Love this phone. Looks great and works great. It's very fast and the battery life is great.

Upgraded from the Note 3. Even though it's a little smaller, it's still large enough for my large hands. I love the battery life. I've had the phone since launch and other than Samsung getting rid of the universal charger end, I've enjoyed all the other things they've done to it.

I was really concerned that it would not live up to my Samsung Note 4. It does and more. :)

I think this phone looks great, works well, and the camera takes great pictures. Love it.

I haven't had an Android phone in several years and am impressed in the performance made.

Fast processor, clarity of display is excellent, audio quality needs improvement, sounds a bit tinny compared to iphone. Screen curve ends up bringing up side bar in error and touch id mildly inconvenient.

Fantastic battery life, brilliant screen resolution. The phone is fast, reliable, and responsive. Finger print scanner position is an adjustment, but quite comfortable and easy to use, especially with the always-on screen, which doesn't seem to really affect the battery life.

The best phone there is in the market today. great camera quality both front and back!

I have used LG phones for years but the great price on the Samsung S8+ with the 64GB and features convinced me to switch brands. I am still learning some of the features but to date I love this phone. The speed, size and fast charging surpasses my other phones.

This is an excellent phone. The screen is amazing, it's fast, it has ample storage... Overall, a great phone.

Just the right size for work or play. Screen is clear and bright. Works as described!

It was time to upgrade my phone so i have been waiting for the samsung 8+. the camera is really great the sound i nice screen display is awesome. I just have to get use to the new functions of the phone. The battery life is really good so far. Overall a really great phone.

Got the phone just before the S9 came out to replace a Note 8 that I had to return to work.I Got a very nice deal from Verizon and Best Buy. This phone is very nice and snappy with good battery life. If you don't need the S pen then get this instead of the Note.

Broke my note 4 screen so it was just move on to a new phone. I tried the LG G6 and really liked everything about it except the width, couldn't type, big fingers, frustrating. So my wife got the LG and I figured why not, the S 8+, how could I lose. Best move ever! Camera is totally awesome, size is good but could be shorter and wider ( Note 4). Fast, extra storage, really an upgrade from the Note 4 and so happy I decided on another Samsung (not washing machines! Only electronics).

This has to be the best phone that I have ever owned! This phone does everything that I need it do and more! The large screen is obviously the major selling point also front facing and rear facing camera are incredible! The only think that I dislike is the dedicated bixby button, I have had bixby being activated while in my pocket quite often and it's really annoying. I did download the app that allows remapping but it does lag just a bit when changing. Overall still a great phone.

Been looking to upgrade from the S6. At first, didn't want to pay the Verizon price. But when Best Buy came out with the sale...and then really started reading reviews, decided to take the "plunge". Awesome phone. Love the updates and the ability to delete ANY application you don't want on here. Not like the older versions where you can only de-activate them. So bloatware is pretty much gone now!

The display on this phone is second to none, absolutely perfect. Quick and snappy loading apps, etc. Best smartphone camera. Had some trouble staying connected to the 5ghz wifi band, but I believe that will be fixed with a software update. Dedicated Bixby button is cool, but would have liked if Samsung allowed this to be a programmable button (single press, double tap, long press.. each controlling a different setting or opening an app) without needing to download a 3rd party app.
