Nice and Loud

Not used to it yet I do enjoy the volume control and the loud ring. I love my S5, especially the camera, but I do find my new S8 has a quicker response to sending photos to people. The picture quality is excellent. The screen is clear, the icons bright and altogether it is a beautiful lightweight upgrade phone.

Fast and powerful, though battery could be better
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The placement of the fingerprint reader is overblown. Even with the newer S9 where the fingerprint reader has been turned 90 degrees, fingerprint smudges is still a possibility. The S8 is still good but at almost 3 years since release it may not receive much more updates to the OS. I'd only recommend this phone if you know this and can get a great deal on it. Battery life on a full charge seems to be an issue, it seems to drain fairly fast. But it can recharge fast, too.

Unlocked phone would not work with AT&T network

Turns out AT&T (my service provider) doesn't always work well with the unlocked phones. Wish I would have known prior to purchasing it. Ended up buying a S8 that was an AT&T phone (not an unlocked phone) and it works great. Posting this just so you may avoid the same headache I experienced trying to save money by buying an unlocked phone.

Great phone, still have issues to improve

The shopping experience was kind of annoying because in order to do a price match for $40 I have to go pick it up in a different location just because of the color and I couldn't apply any of the other promotions like the $50 cricket free credit
