Although Samsung claims these phones are water and dust proof with gorilla glass screens, these claims are misleading, if not outright deceitful. Over 50% of the phone is not gorilla glass. The beautiful and slippery back is not gorilla glass and is easily scratched and cracked. The entire wrap between the front and back of the phone is a plastic which scratches remarkably easily. So the IP68 water proof and dust proof rating is virtually worthless. The 35 hour battery with 15 hours of internet on 4g is also a ridiculous claim. My phone is hitting 40% after less than three hours of active use. Brand new phone hitting one fifth the manufacturer's advertising is unacceptable. And next, updates are an ever present distraction. My phone insisted on as many as two updates a day for the first week I owned it. This last week I've only been forced to update it twice. I would highly recommend buying a different phone if durability and long lasting are important to you.

Bought this about a month ago and hated it from the get go. I should've returned it. My bad! BAD! I detest that Bixby thing on the left that I constantly used to hit. Figured out how to get rid of it. The touch pad for Home Screen I Miss with a passion. When I'm typing and hit just a little lower, it hits that new home screen and now I'm somewhere else on the phone. I have to restart my phone 3-5 x a day just to get my games or pages to load correctly. I could go on for hours. I've loved my first 2 Samsung Galaxy Phones 4 and 7 but this one sucks!!!!!

I got this phone brand new paid infull and started to have issues 4 month's later going back to apple. And after the 4 month's was gonna trade it in only was worth $300 after paying $1000 just months before.

For a phone that has crack residence, it didnt work out too well when dropping it one time, with a protector on it. The entire back was broken immediately.

The ONLY thing I like about this phone is the front camera flash. It is nothing like my Galaxy S5 that I upgraded from & I ABSOLUTELY HATE the curved screen bc the glass screen protector does not fit properly.

There are some good features about this phone like the slow-mo camera. I love this feature. I did not care for this phone. I ended up going back to iPhone & I’m much happier!!!!

I got a lemon with this one! Not even had 6 months, and speaker went out. Pictures in albumns disappears. Keyboard doesnt work correctly etc. Will not have a Samsung again.

I loved my phone until randomly it started restarting constantly. I had to drive 40 miles to fix it two days in a row, and no one could fix it. i switched to an iPhone

Too difficult, didn’t receive messages, will NEVER recommend, went back to old iPhone s6plus.

I think I will stay away from Samsung after this. Battery life sucks. Only had this 8 months

No durability at all fell from edge of couch on to carpeted floor and cracked the back corner

The screen is absolutely ridiculous. Touch sensitivity is poor even when adjusted. But it opens random apps and clicks on things randomly by itself. Screen is extremely fragile. I take very good care and my screen shattered falling from my leg onto carpet.. Geek squad is not helpful in the least even with a protection plan.
