My wife and I replaced our Galaxy S7 Edges together and both opted for the S9+. I was concerned about the curved screen because the S7 Edge was the first phone I've EVER cracked a screen on, but the curvature is not as pronounced and the Otterbox case I bought for the S9+ should do a good job preventing impacts.
