I've been a big Samsung user since the original galaxy phone. Every time I've upgraded the phone has been a huge improvement over the last one. I went from the S7 Edge to this and....it's just not a big step forward. Honestly, my S7 Edge seemed better than this one. I miss the button on the front, I miss the larger battery and I miss the fingerprint on the front. Honestly...I'm slightly mad I upgraded.

So, I finally upgraded from the s6 and I really love many of the new features available on the s9. I love the screen, the camera and the cool motion thing prior to the snapping of the picture. What I don’t like are pretty minor things, but google has been great to tweak things. Overall, this phone is a nice phone, with extensive features. I am still learning all the new things I can do! I also love the ability to add an SID card. I dislike the access to the sad card also takes your SIM card out.

I really like my phone, but it is a little advanced for a first time smart phone user. It has a great camera and lots of storage. I am not use to how thin it is so I got a case right away. I'm not very computer literate so there is a lot on here I will have to figure out. I had a flip phone before this.

The camera is an upgrade from last years S8. The glass back and screen is thicker but doesn't make the phone noticable heavier.

My family has always preferred Samsung to Apple and the S9 is no exception. Bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It takes beautiful pictures and she enjoys all the functionality of her old phone and way more with the S9.

I bought this phone as an upgrade to the S6. I like the Samsung operating system and am pretty pleased with the S9 so far. My only complaint would be the texting key board seems smaller (or my typing has gotten a lot worse) and the auto correct is wonky. It mis-guesses what I am trying to type. I tried changing the settings but that has not corrected the situation. It does better when I type more slowly and am careful when hitting the keys located on the edge of the screen.

I like this phone. There are a lot of features that are improved from previous version. Especially like the camera...

This phone is much faster than my s7. I like that it feels familiar and has a few changes that I like. Would recommend.

The crisp, clear views of each picture and app are amazing. Although the first 18 hours was scary when the updates went into a loop that no one could seem to correct. Verizon and Samsung reps. were on top of the situation and immediately replaced the phone. Off I went with great confidence & joy!

Love the phone but they need to make the Bixby button assignable. What a waste of hardware if you don't want to use Bixby.

It is the perfect gold and runs smoothly. Screen scratches VERY easily, make sure you get a screen protector before you leave the store. You will regret it, believe me. I wish I could go back and redo my pick up and get a screen protector... my 1.5 week phone screen is already scratched.

The issue is really with the availability of good, long lasting screen protectors. We purchased 2 phones and 2 zagg glass screen protectors and they constantly break. Zagg is a person to deal with and the lifetime warranty is a joke when you have to pay shipping every time.

The phone has an excellent camera. It is touchy and easy to inadvertently open/close apps. Takes time to get used to it.

After having the S8 for almost 2 years, did an upgrade to the 9. No noticable day to day differences. Good phone

This is my 3rd Samsung phone. I owned the S6 and S7 prior to this phone. Out of the three this is the hardest one to text on as well as use the voice to text feature. I am constantly having to go back to fix misspelled words. Voice to text is pathetic. It also does not have a feature to schedule text messages at a future time. It is a nice phone and takes great pictures though.

As a loyal Samsung smartphone user, the Galaxy S9 does NOT disappoint. From the great looking and sleek hardware to the super fast OS, Android wins again!! Bixby has proved to be a useful tool and being able to TRULY customize the device unlike iPhones makes for such a great user experience.

This is my first smartphone and for a 60 something, I'm finding it fairly easy to use. Bixby is a very nice feature.

Samsung is a good phone...but after being an iPhone user since the iPhone 4S....I found switching OS’ extremely challenging - more so than I really expected. My husband loves his Samsung S9+ but he’s been a Samsung user for years! I wouldn’t say that I would never ever go back, but for now I’m happier with iPhone and I’m just not at a place where I can really focus on an OS change with my busy life. :) maybe I’ll try it again some other time in the future.
