Long time apple user that decided to give this new Samsung a try. Big mistake 3 days after the 14 day return policy lapsed the screen died. Fortunately I did not trade in my trusty Apple. I am now locked into a purchase of the Samsung for the next 24 months and am waiting for a replacement Samsung. Looking online it looks like this may be a bigger issue than just my phone.

I love the phone but way too many pop-up ads. I have 10 times more ads than I did on my cheap phone

So usually I'm disappointed by phones. I do the research and finally buy the phone but a few months later regret the purchase. Not this time, thank goodness! So happy I broke down and got this phone. I'm in med school and always needing my phone for the million activities going on. I just couldn't get the iPhone after I was told not everything in my old android would copy over. Also a few people I know with both phones prefer the flexibility of android over iphone. It's fast and no glitches. Photos and video are beautiful and come out far better than photos taken with my iPad. Recent updates have not adversely affected function. Best phone I've purchased in the last 5 years. Worth the price to have a solid, quick and efficient phone.

I hate this Samsung phone. It is slippery and falls off tables. It is ow to re as ct to my touch and it is not intuitive. I have taken it back five help every week for 3 weeks.

New product, sketchy connectivity. Soon to visit store for problem solving or return

my new samsung galaxy S9 had a defective screen..I already had to have it replaced a after only 3 weeks of use.

At store i was told my monthly bill will be a60-80$ but it come around 127$. There is hidden cost for everything

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CELL PHONE TO ANYONE. AND ESPECIALLY NOT TO BUY IT FROM BEST BUY, AND OR FROM AT&T ! ! !

this is the best (and most beautiful) phone of 2018, hands down. Pixel 3 xl has a worse processor, less RAM, worse battery, no equalizer, no DeX, no hdmi output, no SD slot, the stupid notch, and is $200 more expensive. iPhone Xs Max has similar performance, no fingerprint sensor, worse battery life, no SD slot, the stupid notch, no DeX, and is $400-600 more expensive. Note 9 is too big for one-handed use, too big for most pockets, has the same processor as this phone, but is $300 more expensive (tho if u use the sPen, that's the best phone for u). seriously, i waited for all the flagship announcements, only to find out that the s9+, announced 6 months ago, is still the best phone of the year, and it's not even close. completely customizable, and just a pleasure to use. the new Samsung software is much better than the old bulk in the days of S3 or even Note3. I'm coming from Pixel XL, and i can vouch for this sw being very lightweight, useful, and snappy. also, the always-on-display is just a pleasure. i don't think I'll want to go back to not having this option. battery life is amazing. I'm very happy with this phone

Just upgraded this phone. I upgraded from an s8. The phone has nice new little features.

the phone is still usable even in 2022 and is still going strong

Pros: The camera is very good. Cons: Samsung's customer service and Bixby is VERY annoying. Samsung at first refused to fix the phone when the screen cracked and after we tried fixing it on our own. Then they agreed to fix it... if we payed over $700.... Also, Bixby.

So the new phone is great but the battery is dead on day 2, I never had a Samsung phone that did not last at least 4 days and this is my 5th so great phone but for what you pay for it it should had came with a better battery. I wish I would had read more about it. I gave it a 2 star for FAIR if the battery would have been good it would be a 5 star item.

I've had this phone for 16 days and it's now dead. When it worked, it was slower than my iPhone 6 plus. Had trouble with texting that I thought was due to software lag. Seems others are facing similar problems and it's likely a touchscreen problem (dead zones). Samsung already issued a statement that it's working on the issue. My phone is also completely frozen. Even if I reboot, it freezes at the Samsung screen. Best Buy wouldn't take it back because outside 14 days. I asked Samsung to send me a replacement but they refused and referred me to repair facility. It's currently at the repair shop for the 2nd day. Very expensive inconvenience. Avoid this handset.
