I didn't need a screen protector and in almost 2 years it never scratched. When getting this phone I asked them if the screen was similar to the edge. They said it should be better. So I didnt get a screen protector. Well within 3 days it had a huge scratch on the screen and because it wasnt in "new" condition they wouldn't do anything for me. Also, I will get a text message and nothing will show up in my message app until 2-3 minutes later.
