I needed a phone and I was hoping to look for something other than a Samsung but got stuck with the S9. Some of the features I had and was living with in the S6 are gone! Why Samsung? If you are a Samsung fan you will love it.

I had been pleased with my old Galaxy S5 for years, but, unfortunately,it was beginning to "lag", and it's performance was no longer "up to par",so I waited until the release of the S9 before I upgraded. It was an AMAZING disappointment for me when, after waiting a year for the release of the S9, and pre-ordering my phone, I discovered that: 1. The touch screen would only work when the phone was held "upright". 2. After fully charging the battery, the charge was down to 75% after only 3 hours. I contacted Sprint, whose reps diligently attempted to "trouble shoot" the issues,but their technical department finally gave up, and referred me to Samsung. The rep for Samsung simply stated, "Unfortunately, you got a "bad phone", just take it back to Best Buy." Which, after having had the phone for only 24 hours, I did. Like any other device created by a human being, sometimes you get a "lemon". My review is an honest evaluation of one "inferior" item, in a long line of what is, in my opinion, a superior product. I can not, of course, recommend the S9 phone that I received. P.S. Don't get me wrong, I am still a "die-hard" Galaxy fan, although Best Buy had sold out of all black Galaxy S9 phones, I opted for the black S9+, with which I have not had a problem at all, it is AWESOME!

No problems with the operation of the phone, however my screen shattered after a pretty light drop. Best Buy quickly replaced. But, I'd definitely recommend a good screen protector.

I dropped it the first week. this is BS these products don't come with some minimal protection. everything is an add on these days. my free phone now cost 250 to repair

So far I have had problems receiving group text messages so the verdict is still out...

I am having a hard time trying to learn this item it is so different from the S5, so at this time I am not sure how I feel. But I am sure I will like it after time.

After having the phone for about a month the camera will no longer focus. When you tap on the screen it adjusts the light but won't focus in.

Doesn't register me sliding my finger to answer calls. Thought it would be better. Sorry I bought this phone

It does the job for what I needto do just hate all the updates and the changes. Constantly relearning how to use my phone

not the greatest since sliced bread but a decent phone. I do feel like I was misinformed about things from the best buy rep.

the finger print reader on the back started to get defective only after a few month's ownership.

I bought these without cases and have dropped them, why isn't there minimal protection provided by manafacturer
