Battery isn't any better. Can hear myself when I talk on the phone. Constantly drops calls. Doesn't work in my basement when my old phone did. So far, not a fan!

But there were lots of mis-touches due to the edge of the phone and after buying two separate S9s at the same time, both of them have been returned due to constant freezing of the phone.

An amazing camera to capture every detail, a fast processor that can handle anything you throw at it, a great screen, and most importantly great battery life. He's always liked Samsung phones but his last one was one of their lower end models. I got him this one because of the fast processor, great screen, and amazing camera. As well as the better software support/upgrade cycle.
