Overall the phone is OK. I had to rate it average due to the extremely poor quality of the voice recognition for sending texts. My old phone (S4 -- it was old) had ten times better voice recognition.

Need to replace my old phone glad I brought the S9

It's a very nice upgrade to my previous cell phone.

Loved my s5, finally got the s9. Was disappointed with some of the features that don't work when Samsung did updates. Notifications don't show for missed calls and VM, which can drive you crazy.

I don't like placement of keys on outside edges. What is Bixby? Was never explained to me. Trouble closing games. Why do camera cases cost so Much?

I thought phones should get better as new generations arrive. Not so. This is the first Galaxy I don't love. Too many reasons to post. So sad that my S6 suddenly froze and could not be revived. I see an iPhone in my future.

Phone size & features seem good. However, bought the phone for wife & she is frustrated that her Contacts/Photos are not able to transfer from Nokia Windows that was purchased from Verizon several years ago.

So far I have enjoyed this upgrade aside from the camera. I take a lot of pictures of my kids who are always moving and this camera is awful. Half of my pictures have had blur. My Galaxy S7 took less blurry pictures.

I purchased two phones (for myself and wife). My wife's phone had the mic stop working periodically. It now doesn't work at all. The speaker phone and headset with mic will work, but not the mic to make a regular call. There are several pages on Samsung's support blog with no resolution. We are working with Samsung but it doesn't appear to be a fix. We already spent 2 hours in the store to get new phones. Now, it appears we will waste more time with Samsung support only to get sent a new phone that could or could not work. We are going to give Samsung a call this afternoon but it appears that we may just switch both phones to something else. I can't risk having my mic stop working with all the work-related calls I make. And, to spend this much money on a phone to not have the main feature work (a simple phone call), it is pretty frustrating.
