Being Best Buy had the cost not much more than fixing the old it was a done deal! This one is skinnier and taller than the 7 edge. No home button. It took a few minutes to adjust on how to use it and get into all apps. It otherwise is much of the same. I personally feel Galaxy is superior to others but if I was not forced into buying a new one, I would not have upgraded. The days of massive reasons to upgrade are long gone. I would still recommend this to others and that is the only reason for the 4 start instead of 5. Nothing much of note from 7 to 9. Maybe we will see more with 10.

The only issue is that the very much touted super slo-mo video is terrible indoors. No amount of electric light is enough to make the video good, and with a normally bright room, it is unuseable. Samsung is well-aware of this issue and intends to fix it through an eventual software modification. Supposedly, super slo-mo looks good when recorded in bright sunlight.
