She said it worked fine for her needs, but I needed a smart phone for my electronic gear. I knew I couldn't buy an S9 while she was using a device five generations old. Neither of us play games nor have see the need for a $1,000+ Apple smart phone. Best Buy along with Verizon put the S9 on-sale for a little more than a "budget" phone, so I purchased two Galaxy S9 smart phones. I will check "YES" to recommending to a friend, but I will qualify the recommendation with "ONLY IF IT IS ON SALE".
