Useless Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow. Zero updates in 5... 6... 7 hours! Multiple times, multiple days. "Last updated 45 mimutes ago" is a common message that just stacks until youre half a day or more until the next update. This thing is actually useless.

As we strive to be innovative and make improvements on the design and functionality of our product line, your feedback is invaluable. Samsung provides a for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag 2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network help with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. Without having more information available regarding what may be occurring with your device and without being able to ask you any follow up questions to probe further, I recommend reaching out to Support for further assistance and/or help with troubleshooting your device. The description from Samsung is very vague at best. If you want to use it in the house to find your missed place keys it's a workable, but expensive option.
