This is a 2pc design has notches that fit in the tablet using (it appears) magnets to hold the keyboard in place. This sucker has fallen off more times since I bought it than the one piece I have on my Tab 4. I have to slide it so it hangs over an edge to get ahold of it to open.

It unfortunately stopped working about 2 months after I bought it. If it didn't stop working I would've given it a 4 star rating. It's a good keyboard but the spine is too flexible.

Very annoying And for the price, I'm quite disappointed that in less than a year the keys have started to stick. I expect much better quality for $200. I don't think I'm going to even use the warranty I purchased, probably just get a $30 one off amazon.

The magnetic connection just doesn't hold well. When it is connected, it works fine. I expect better from Samsung. Very disappointed.

It's in two pieces vs one as my old keyboard cover was. The magnet holding the two pieces together isn't that strong and inevitably, the keyboard half falls to the floor. What a bummer.
