Love this phone! The size & weight are perfect for me. After using it a few days I hardly notice the crease. Its nice to have a phone I stuff in my pocket and not worry about losing it. Yes - the battery life is not the best, so if you're a heavy user, this may not be the phone for you. Despite that - i think zFlip is great!

Good things: beautiful screen, good battery life, folds to be so nice and small. good amount of storage. Nice camera Bad Things: No headphone jack, no micro SD card, screen has had an error where it gets lines it it and i had to reboot and it was fine. I hope that does not get worse. Its not the fastest phone out there but it does come at a pretty high price for not being super fast. its not bad but for the price it should be better. Overall: Its a great size to work with. the screen looks awesome. Overall i like it, I wish the fingerprint reader was on the screen. on the side is not comfortable for me. I would recommend it to someone that wants a phone that can be small enough for a party purse or in almost any pocket. thats the really good thing about this is how small it can be.

Compact and easy to tuck In your pocket. Open, phone is about the same size and format as a traditional phone. Works great. Unfortunately, Samsung Pay does not work well. Probably needs an update.

good phone. Easy to use. Down fall is battery life but this phone has smaller battery than most phones. I like the compact design. Wish i held up to buy newer version coming out.

So far I love this phone. Fits well in the pocket, screen is great. Camera is a solid camera for what it is. Battery life is the only obvious short coming, but that's expected.

What I want in a smart phone is at least 128GB, so that it won't run out before the two years is up. This one has that and doesn't stick out of my back pocket. But it is a bit of a trade off, because now, once you put a case on it, it is just a little fatter. I don't really notice the crease in the middle, unless I am looking for it. It doesn't bother me. I do a lot of video calls with my kids and it does well for that. And then there is the just plain cool factor of having a folding phone. Gotta love that part.

11 months ago I purchased this flip phone at best buy. It's been a great phone anda great conversation piece especially at checkout in stores. Hard to believe that there are still people who have never seen it,especially with all the hype when it first came out. Anyway the flip has been great. I was replacing my S21 and the flip did the job. I purchased a cover because the flip was a bit difficult to hold but the cover solved that problem. Could not ask for anything more. But,,,,,,,,,,a few weeks ago the inside plastic shield started to lift at the fold. Only about 1/2 inch but I knew something was wrong. Went back to BB they agreed that this could not be corrected and flip s/b replaced. I walked out a few hours later with a brand new phone that didn't cost a cent. The only reason it took a few hours was because of the time it took to transfer info. I am not sure if my BB warranty or Samsung warranty was used but I was extremely happy with my new phone. BB employees are the best. Cannot understand why people mess with other stores when bb comes to the rescue. Bottom line, flip is a decent phone and BB makes it even better.

This phone is slippery, according to the hubs. He doesn't want to spend the money on the case, because it's also slippery and he feels like it won't protect adequately. Not sure what to do. Doesn't want a pop socket! Grip tape on a "thousand dollar" phone? Hmmm. Overall, this a cool phone that folds in half and is good for watching the games.

    An Unexpected Upside

Would have given this phone six stars if that were an option. The last time I’d bought a premium phone was 15 years ago – a Moto Razr. After the iPhone was introduced – the death knell sounded for smart flip-phones in the US. Over that period, had replaced the post-Razr LG flip-phone once (NOS from eBay), and the battery three times. It wasn’t that the battery had failed – just that it wasn’t holding a charge as long. Further, the back just slid off, to access the battery slot – no glue that needed to be melted. In any case, was skeptical of the Z flip/fold screens from the outset – and put off by the high price. But became a believer in the foldable-screen technology, after playing with the BB display models during several visits – though I’d have been OK with two half-screens at half the $. This week, my carrier and BB dropped the price significantly, so I bought one. The features I really like: > I don’t need a case, and it fits in my pocket – just like the Razr or LG phones > (the sixth star) Prop it up in flex mode on the desktop, and it’s like a mini-laptop. Aside from the awkward form factor of flat-phones, never could thumb the way 99% of folks seem able to naturally do. On the desktop, though, using two index fingers, can type almost as fast as when on a full-size keyboard using all fingers/thumbs, because of the small reach. And the flex angle is – well – completely flexible. Not just one open position > I can still use my favorite (wired) headset, using a pigtail with USB-C and 3.5 mm connections. There’s a small delay compared to direct analog, but nowhere near as long as a typical Bluetooth delay To net, probably paying a ~$300 premium for being able to fold an S21 (my smarter half upgrades their Galaxy, every third generation - now a S21). Finally, a shout-out to the consistently knowledgeable/ helpful BB staff, across all sales and service roles.

Another Great Smart Phone from Samsung

I upgraded my wife who was using a Samsung Galaxy 9+ for over 2 years and she has been very happy with this upgrade. The screen is big and clear, the camera takes great phones, and the phone is very comfortable to hold when open and closed. When closed, the phone takes up little room and has no issues carrying in your pocket. Another great smartphone by Samsung.

    My Review

I have to admit I was a little skeptical when purchasing the Z Flip3 but it has turned out to be a pretty good phone. The battery life is better than all the reviews I had read. Of course I'm not on the phone all day long like a lot of people but I do my fare share of texting, and checking emails, internet browsing. I setup the fingerprint access and really like how it has been put on the side button instead of the camera lens. It is very easy use from this position. The camera doesn't appear to be as good as the camera on my S8 (which I liked very much). I can tell the difference between in the internet speed with 5G. I am more of a functional user than a technical user even though I have plenty of apps loaded and find this phone as good if not better than any I have had. I will occasionally use Zoom and Teams and both work great. Bottom line is I would recommend this phone if you are looking to purchase a new one.

Wonderful piece of technology. The phone is impecabbly built and the the fold/unfold creates a new experience. Function and operation are fast and a vast improvement form my previous S8 plus phone. When unfolded, the phone is a bit tall previous cell phone, so minot grip adjustment was necessay. Very slick and slippery, recommend getting a grippy case right away.
