Overall the phone is great. It runs smooth and takes amazing back photos. However I had the phones for about 5 months and it cracked on me. I have not dropped it, I’ve been taking care of it because I know that the screen is already fragile. I could not touch it or fix it. Geek squad could not repair it either.save your money and get a phone that does not flip.

My old phone was a MotoG 6. It outdid this Samsung in reception. The MotoG usually only got 2 bars, but thi9s phone was lucky if it got 1 bar

I bought this phone because the employee at Best Buy made me believe it last long. It was a lie. This is one of the worst batteries ever.

Had a S20 which stopped working. Bought the flip phone however returned it. Now using a S7 which is still better than the flip phone.

It quit working after three weeks and now I'm stuck with this broken phone and a phone contract

Really like the physical appearance. Do not like android. Too difficult to use. Returned for iphone

Looks pretty cool. I returned it after two days. I personally like Apple system better then the Samsung. I really didn’t like the flip like I though I would. Best Buy did right with honoring return policy.

First folding phone without many compromises... Positives: It's essentially a S21 you can fold in half. The screen is extremely bright and vibrant. Software is well optimized for the fold. I love folding it in half and propping it up to watch YouTube and other content while I do chores, cook, etc. Multitasking is pretty solid as well. Negatives: The battery life is probably worse than what you've read. I limit the charge to 85%, but I have to charge it at least twice a day. Second, the GPU is just bad. I like to play games on my phone, and I have to use much worse settings than the iPhone 12 Pro I came from. For example, I ran Genshin Impact at high settings and 60 FPS on my iPhone. This phone starts dropping frames at medium settings and 30 FPS. I've noticed this on the S21 Ultra as well, which is why I ultimately decided to use an iPhone as my daily driver. Third, the screen protector. It feels MUCH better than the one on the Z Flip 5g. But, it doesn't cover the whole screen. There is a millimeter gap at the top, and it is extremely noticeable. I've also heard of lots of people having crooked screen protectors. It seems this is one area where quality control is lacking.

Would love to be able to write a review. However, Best Buy mislead me to believe when I "bought" the phone on 8/25/21 I would GET my phone on 8/27/21. Here it is 9/4/21 and still no phone!! Should have gone to Verizon. Never again Best Buy!

Have had it a little more than a week but in that time I've come to enjoy having this phone. I'm tough on phones so having a flip smart phone available made this a natural choice. I don't live on my phone all day like some may. I've read many reviews critical of the battery life but mine so far has been fine. 2 days between charges, no problem. My only concern was the phone itself is rather slippery. I added a thin protective case to it that provides a lot of grip so it better suits my clumsy fingers. Took advantage of the Cyber Monday sale. $499 made it a no-brainer for me. I wouldn't pay a grand for it.

A durable cellphone but sensitive and it has to be charged up 1-2×s depending on the use of it so, except for that I'm okay with making the choice to purchase the Flip.

Best Samsung I have had yet and I have had many of them. The phone is compact and very heavy for a small phone with a large screen when opened. Recommend it strongly. Only negative I can say is the battery life is short lived.

I LOVE this Flip phone! Its the best cell I've owned so far ( and thats alot of years). Best features this phone has I will list below: 1) Built in Screen Protector that is scratch proof and unbreakable if dropped. 2) No protective case needed due to above. 3) it has a big screen and its fast for all uses. 4) You can not see the bend in the screen where it folds 5) when flipped closed, it fits easy in your pocket. I have dropped this phone several times and hard drops, not one crack or scratch after dropping it. The only thing I dont like about it is that it is magnetic and it WILL strip your credit cards its placed close to them everytime.

Cool phone, powerful. Battery isn't good and needs to be charged at least once a day (besides overnight) and the (black) phone is really susceptible to overheating in direct sunlight

I am in love with this phone! The size is perfect and I can take advantage of the outside screen to keep up with much of my daily life. The limited battery life doesn't affect me at all. I did buy a sturdy case to protect it from drops and I expect it to last for quite a while.

Phone didn't last, screen protector is already lifting after about a year of use. Battery life is about ten hours and doesn't have super fast charging. Phone felt modern and slick and i was happy with it but not a very long life and will be upgrading to something new.

I was SO excited for this phone. I am always breaking my screen so I thought this would be the perfect way to protect my screen. Within three months, the screen started cracking at the bend. I called Verizon, since it was still under warranty, and the required me to mail it in in order to get it fixed. Unfortunately, I don't have an extra phone to use while they take the 2-3 three weeks to fix the screen. The crack in the fold makes it not possible to let other devices scan a QR code since the crack goes right across the middle. There's also not a good way to carry this phone. It's double thick when it folds so very bulky in a pocket, yet there's not a good around-the-neck or other type of holder for it. I am now going on one year of having this phone and a section of the screen has lost it's touch capabilities. I almost couldn't get into my phone because it lost the sensitivity in a spot that required me to use with my unlock pattern. I can't retrieve my voicemail because it affects the numbers and I can't type in my pin. I am so incredibly disappointed in this phone. I bought it straight out with cash (no "$49/per for 30 months" type deal) and it is the worst chunk of money I've ever spent. I am very shocked at all the good reviews.

having fun and still learning new things (shortcuts, etc.) but I really enjoy having a flip phone. My very first phone was a "flip" and my husband thought it was the greatest. I have always had a Samsung.

Folding protects the screen. Sharp pictures. Ease of use for first time user.
