I had this for less than a year and the charge port stopped working and then the screen started to go in and out, sometimes it was multicolored static, and then it started restarting randomly. I tried troubleshooting and found these were known issues. I went through the troubleshooting and still no luck. So, I contacted Samsung and they said I had to go to a store to get it assessed. The guy at the store also indicated the screen thing was a known issue and looked over my phone and said it will be covered under warranty. I got a call back the next day that they say they found a scratch and that voids the warranty. They wanted to charge me around $400 to fix the issue. I'll buy another non-Samsung phone instead that will be more reliable. The scratch was from me taking the phone case off of it so I could charge it wirelessly because the charging port stopped working, so it was after the issue started. I am very dissappointed that Samsung won't fix known issues on a phone that is less than a year old. I started looking at other reviews and saw a number that had the same experience. I won't ever buy a Samsung product again as they do not back their products, even when they have known issues. Which is a shame because I have bought a lot of their products, but I don't trust them anymore. It is a cheap product that they won't stand behind.

I had to pay almost $300 to have the screen on my new phone replaced. After another month the screen started to go out again so i traded the phone in. The company does not warranty the screen. They know the screens are of poor quality and they dont stand behind them.

Dreaded Black Inner Screen

It won't turn on at all. I tried all the recommended fixes, but nothing works. The cover screen seems ok. I've had it for 9 trouble-free months. Also, I called one of the "authorized Samsung phone repair" sites per Samsung's website and was told they don't do warranty repair! Help Samsung! This was too expensive to be a paperweight!

Best buy trade in is a scam

I talked to customer service, they said go to the store. I talked to the store, they said email onlinetradein. I emailed onlinetradein, they told me to go back to the store and to not contact them again. Do yourself a favor and purchase your phone through your provider because best buy will scam you.

This device is not built to last and you will run into issues eventually no matter how cool it is its not worth 1000 bucks if its going to break within 2 months of owning it brand new skip the folds in general they all have this issue
