I love galaxies already. This one is so cute! I haven't had it long so I'm not 100% educated on the new features but so far it's great! Plus the nostalgia that comes with it is so fun! I get so many compliments and interest when anyone sees me close/ open it. My only real issue is how quick the battery dies. I watch a lot of tv/ videos when I'm opening/ closing at work. That causes my phone to die quickly. It's easy to charge though, so no big deal! I love the camerab and how i can use the flip features as a "tripod". The front camera isn't the greatest but the back camera is top knotch and there's a "view finder " feature so you can see yourself for back camera selfies!

Excellent phone! They've greatly improved the build quality compared to previous models, but the quality assurance still needs improvement. I'll list a few pros and cons. Over-all I would recommended it if the user is willing to take an expensive risk and try something new. Get the protection plan! Pros -Screen is super bright and crisp -Vapor chamber does wonders for heat. I've only felt it get warm while charging and during a very long google meets video session. -Squared off sides and design feel very premium. -Processor is incredibly snappy. If I shorten the animations using developer settings, it easily outpaces my iPhone 15 Pro. I can get stuff done faster on this device. -Cover screen is fun to use. Great for selfies and doubles as a mini video player when I want to drift off to sleep without the TV on. There are so many creative ways to use it. -Cameras are WAY better this go-around. In combination with the folding design, this might be the best selfie phone in existence. If frequently surpasses my iPhone 15 pro's camera quality. -Battery life is much improved compared to the 5. I had an S24 Ultra and they lasted nearly the same with the ultra maybe having 10% more juice at the end of the day. Cons -Durability and QA are still questionable. My first Z flip 6 had a screen that popped every time I opened it. I returned and got a new one. No issues so far. -Samsung Care + is expensive and there are questionable stories about Samsung's repair policies. You have to stand by your product and its faults. -Cover screen limitation 1: It needs more widget support from other app developers. If you're like me and primarily use google apps, you're going to be disappointed. Almost every widget is based on Samsung's proprietary apps. -Cover screen limitation 2: Launching apps from this screen is still a beta feature buried in the settings. Even worse, there's only a few supported. You have to download GoodLock to bypass this limitation which is a ding against the user experience. Samsung... just allow every app by default in the settings menu. -Cover screen limitation 3: It's locked at 60hz and is much lower quality than the main screen. For a 6th generation device, this should have an LTPO panel by now and refresh down to 1hz. This would improve AOD and battery life. -Resale value is REALLY BAD. Once you buy a foldable, you're locked in unless you find a Samsung or carrier trade-in deal.

The good: this phone is compact, easily fitting in a pocket; the 50 mp camera is FAR better than the old 12 mp of previous generations, especially in low light; the inner display is bright and sharp, the outer display is very useful when answering calls/texts; the speakers are louder and clearer than last year's model; the battery life is noticeably improved from the Flip 4 and 5; the phone's 12 gb of RAM means the system and apps run smoothly, and the flat/textured frame allows for a much better grip than older versions; the hingle feels much more sturdy/holds in place better than the Flip 5. The bad: black or white aren't color options; the back of the Flip 6 is matte metal, like the Flip 4, a step town from the glossy finish of the Flip 5. Even with the addition of vapor cooling, this phone still runs pretty warm in summer, though not nearly as hot as the Flip 4s or 5s got. THE UGLY: This model has some SERIOUS manufacturing problems. (If you do an online search, there have been tens of thousands of complaints about this model.) After 4 months of normal use (NO DROPS, NO LIQUIDS, no gaming/heavy processing, kept in a case with a hinge cover), my inner/main screen would start responding slowly to touch, then not at all. Later that evening, the screen went black in the middle of a call. Tried to use a USB-C to HDMI/USB-A hub to connect to an external display, phone wouldn't output video or accept device input. Tried do a back-up of the phone with a laptop and another Samsung phone, but the USB-C port wouldn't transmit data So the USB port is malfunctioning too. Went to Samsung's website, which directed me to the nearest UBREAKIFIX store. The tech advisor said the issues is that the ribbon cable to the screen was mounted inside the hingle improperly, damaging the cable with every open/close and that the USB-C ports were defective. Unfortunately, since this is such a widespread problem, that this store, and all the other nearby locations, were out of the parts needed for the repair. (I live in a major metro area with a few dozen UBREAKIFIX locations, but none has the parts, it seems.) So after dropping a grand on a new phone, I'm back to using my previous one for the past 3 weeks. I've been using Samsung phone almost exclusively for the past 15 years, including the Flip 4 and Flip 5, and NEVER had an issue with any of them. I'm VERY disappointed in Samsung, especially since the Flip 6s are made in South Korea, their home country. Where's the quality control? They'd better not try to charge me $300 to fix their obvious manufacturing defects (as some people online have mentioned) or this will be the LAST Samsung product I EVER buy!

First impressions of the device is I really like the design. I skipped the Flip4 and went straight. Who actually asked, give the Flip4 and 5? Hey, wait for the 6. So this iteration is all brand new to me, so this is gonna be one of those type reviews where it is all new. Despite one of the other YouTube reviewers are saying This is all new to me, second. I actually like the build. Quality of the device it's solid. I like the way it feels just like the samsung galaxy s twenty four, which I had the s twenty four plus and it was a great phone in my opinion. This year, Samsung decided to add a vapor chamber in the flip 6 so it helps with the cooling of the device. But it still gets a little warm if you really want to rock this phone without a case as to how I'm doing with the device. So far, I had a case, but I went ahead and decided to take the case off and rock it as it was intended. So it, you know it does get a little warm only when using android auto with this device. The phone is an absolute conversation starter! Anytime i have it out people are so fascinated by it. But anyway it’s a good phone. I went from Google Pixel 7 Pro to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, and i will say i do miss having a sturdy phone that's not so fragile. Its been couple months with this phone and i can already hear a cracking noise when i open it. its still working fine but it has glitched out a few times to where the screen wont let me press anything. i do love using the tiny front screen to quickly check notifications. Overall, it’s a cool, fun phone, but in the long run it’s not very practical.

It’s really cute and nice and I prefer it to an iPhone. But the front camera doesn’t compare. And it heats up really quickly . Other than that it’s really nice and the back camera is amazing and the battery life is so long . Definitely picking your battles w this one

Very very unhappy. This phone screen went completely black today, apparently a very common problem with this model and since it is past 60 days and I didn't spend 100s of $$$ on extra warranty best buy wouldn't help me

The order arrived safe. I was in shocked when I open the box, the phone looks amazing and really pretty. It exceeded my expectations. The first thing that I checked was the camera quality, amazing. I'm not a person that likes to takes photos but now I would definitely do that.

Had it for a few weeks now and it has been really fun! Nothing mind blowing, but I love how it fits in my pocket so easily and it is also super light compared to my 23 ultra. The crease is fairly noticable if your brightness is lower, but it doesn't bother me.

I love tje fold factor. Have dropped it and havent had any issues with the screen, upgraded from a samsung S20 i kinda miss the zoom x30 but ngl, x10 seems to do well enough for what I need.

My fiancés phone charger port stopped working after only 4 months, and luckily we had the geek squad protection plan! After a very easy scheduling via online we were able to be seen just a day later. Everyone was very helpful and they helped us back up and reset the phone before we exchanged it. Overall happy with the experience.

Used it for a month and the crease is still not too noticeable. I do thonk my google pixel took better photos

Honestly. I was soooo skeptical of switching. However my partner is a die hard samsung user ans convinced me to finally switch. While adapting to the OS has been challenging, this phone has been nothing but fun. The nostalgia of a new age flip phone that is able to be 100% customized? sign me up! I am so so happy with this decision and unless i have to i wont be goinf back.

Kept having my phones fall out of my pocket when writing in the yard. Lots of time spent trying to find my phone in the yard. This is PERFECT for the busy Gardner and those busy on thier homestead where your always moving. I haven't had my new Galaxy Flip 6 fall out once. The girhroys yellow color i chose mayches my sunflowers ..

I really liked this phone but just three months later it's already malfunctioning. The inner screen intermittently won't turn on. I took it into service but a tiny imperfection on the hinge (see picture) voided my warranty according to the repair shop. This phone has only had normal use, no major drops. It would cost $350 pre-tax to fix the screen. Given the hinge is naturally a weak point, I don't trust that it won't break again in three months so I've decided to buy a different phone instead. It's too bad because it's a really nice concept.

Finally got my first flip coming from S20 5G. I found the small screen comes in handy especially when I drive for quick notifications without having to use the big screen. I wish they can fit a telephoto cam in this phone for the price..

Has all the functionality that I need plus sleek and easy to carry in any pocket.
