This is my second fold phone which I have had for six months now. I had the Fold4 for about 18months before it was lost in the ocean. I did not have any problems with my old one, nor my F5. Display has been flawless, and no issues with opening or closing. I use my phone for business & personal, and it has exceeded my expectations. I work a lot on PDFs and spreadsheets so this has been a great device for me given all its functionalities (larger screen, multiple windows with good visibility, etc.). The camera is superior as Samsung has always been a leader in this area. It is narrow and slim enough to fit in my pant pocket. I owned the first three generations of iphones until 2010 and chose to leave for an android given Apple's history of stopping updates to promote sales of newer phones. Samsung galaxy phones have been tried and true for me. I keep my phones for years...if its not broken...why buy a new one. I recommend this phone for people who are tired of working on a phone screen, and tired of carrying around a separate ipad.

I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 from Best Buy, and it has completely transformed how I use a phone. The build quality is exceptional—the hinge feels solid yet smooth, and the folding mechanism inspires confidence every time I open it. The main display is absolutely stunning, with vibrant colors, deep contrast, and a refresh rate that makes everything feel silky-smooth. I can easily run multiple apps side-by-side, which has made my workday more productive and my downtime more enjoyable. The front screen is perfect for quick tasks, while the large inner display turns into a tablet for streaming, reading, and editing documents. Performance is lightning-fast, even with heavy multitasking. The cameras capture sharp, vibrant photos in all lighting conditions, and the battery easily lasts through a full day of use. Charging is quick, so I’m never without my device for long. My buying experience at Best Buy was top-notch—the staff answered my questions thoroughly, made recommendations based on my needs, and even helped me set up the device so I could start enjoying it right away. The Z Fold5 isn’t just a phone; it’s a powerhouse for productivity and entertainment. If you’re ready to experience the future of mobile technology, I highly recommend it.

Love the phone. Ive gone through 2 cases but it has taken falls, impacts, and some unnecessarily extreme conditions. While getting a sturdy case can be difficult the phone itself is durable. Very fast, responsive and overall great. When folded its nice and slim. Easier to fit in your pocket then the other phones that are so large. The thickness of it when folded is hardly noticeable. And whether your reviewing documents or just playing a game. Having the larger screen when its convenience is such a game changer. Do not regret my purchase. Bought well over a year ago and still love it!

What an amazing piece of equipment! If you're on the fence about buying this phone, DO IT, DONT WAIT! Ofcourse i had buyers remorse from the price, but once you use the phone, you will forget all about that.....although quite heavy, it is amazing when "unfolded" , you will not be disappointed......blazing fast speeds, great pictures, and a huge screen......LOVE IT ALL!! samsung knocked it out of the park......i almost went with iphone 15, super glad i didnt!!

Left Samsung about 5 years ago for Apple due to camera shutter lag, constant glitches and a very disappointing software experience. Apple was much more polished and had a full ecosystem that worked better. Flashforward to the Galaxy Fold 5. This thing is a POWERHOUSE. The Snapdragen Gen2 feels faster than the 14pro max I had, and connecting this thing to my work PC as a second screen is super convenient. I can do all the simple quick tasks on my front screen(that is super easy to grip by the way), then BAM, flip this puppy open and get a huge screen for web searches, social media, or even gaming in Full Screen like Star Trek, Mech Arena, or Asphalt 9. Cameras are solid. The new One UI 5.1 paired with Android 13 makes Apple feel boring for not giving users any customization. I mean when is Apple going to let users put an app where they want in their home screen, or utilize all that processing power(not denying there is a stronger motor under the hood) for something as simple as split screen?!. All I know is 5 generations of the Fold later and Samsung hit a homerun. Even my wife who kicked and screamed about switching loves her new Flip 5. Only thing realy left to be desired for the Fold 5 and Flip 5 is battery life. I use my front screen about 35% of my day and my inside large screen about 65% , and average around 6-7 hours of on screen time before it dies in an 18 hour day. My wifes Flip 5 gets about an hour more. For reference, the 14Pro Max could easily go 10-11 hours onscreen time in the same days ussage. I definitely recommend this phone and am glad to be back on the Android side of things.

Extremely happy with this upgrade. Like the many options with the split screen possibilities. Quality camera and updated OS is winderful. Has the power of a PC and the size of a decent tablet that folds nicely.

It has blazing fast speed, a huge amount of storage, and the ability to multi-task like no other! Your entertainment experience will never be the same. I was initially worried. My concern lied with the crease in the middle, and how slippery the glass is. Without a protective case, it slides around much easier. Easy fix with any case for it. The crease in the middle practically disappears when you're unfolded. Forget everything you think you know about the smartphone, the Galaxy Zfold 5 will change any skeptics mind. Find out what you're missing out on and buy it today!!

I love the bigger screen and the battery life is not bad at all. Also, the speakers are really good. This phone reminds me of the sophistication of the Note. A major complaint is the lack of SPen holder, not being able to use the SPen on the front screen and the selfie camera of course. When you need a quick picture, you should be able to use the selfie camera and not be worried about it. As far as it goes to durability, they have to make these stronger. I have dropped my phone at least three times. Lucky for me, I purchased a very strong case and there was no damage, but what if I didn't have it on there. I like the multitasking all on one big screen, but other than the fact that it folds is the only reason I got it. Not worth the price they are charging. I would say 500 to 900 with these features.

I bought 2 of them for my wife and for myself. So far we love this phone. The quality of thr picture and video is so good. Its perfect to capture moments to remember. I love the fact that you can interact with phone folded and unfolded. Looking at thr apps when thr phone is fully unfolded is awesome. The down side is, some developer for thr apps dont have it optimize for the Z fold 5. Its not samsungs fault is the people who make apps like Crunch app and others. The multi tasking by having one side to be youtube and other side like email. Super convenient! You have the options of how you interact. It is a pricey phone but worth the money.

You cannot go wrong with this phone. It is far more better then any other phones in town. Excellent wide screen with OLED display with multi-speakers for listening to music, movies and gaming. Good reliable battery and fast charging in 15 mins from 20 to 80%.Great in taking hi-res pictures.

I was a bit skeptical of the folding phones, especially after hearing horror stories that screens would break after only a few weeks of use. But after seeing a family member with a foldable phone, I realized that many of those busted phones were most likely due to people not handling their devices with care or even doing the bare minimum of buying a proper case. I ordered this phone, immediately got a case with a hinge protector, and have had zero issues in the two months that ive had it. I love the dimensions of this phone when folded. The width of the main screen paired with the depth of the phone makes it feel extremely secure in my hands. For sure, the main screen can be small at times. Ive found myself making typos on my keyboard many times, but I've improved a lot and if i really wanted to, i could simply make my keyboard UI larger. The phone, when opened, is glorious. You really dont know what you've been missing out on in regards to screen space until you try a foldable phone. And the seam in the middle is barely noticeable when youre looking at it. Honestly ill forget that it even exists until i have to run my finger over it for whatever I'm touching on the screen. Ive used the larger (unfolded) screen to watch things while traveling, and just recently started to use game emulators paired with an XBox Controller via bluetooth to play games, which is awesome. Before due to phone screen space I wouldn't be able to play more than typical mobile games but with this phone im able to play pretty much anything. Making this phone effectively my entertainment center and communication device all in one. Overall, im very pleased with the decision. I dont think i could ever go back to non-folding phones. That being said, i did snag this while it was $1499, which i think is a much more reasonable price point.

I absolutely love my Fold phone. I mostly use it as a tablet that i can fold and put away in a pocket. Beautiful screen and great camera. I went on a trip to Europe and my family stopped using their iphones to take pictures and would just tell me to take a picture of it instead because it looked so much better than the iphone pictures lol.
