A few times, I found my S Pen in my pocket out of the unit. I confirmed I put it back in the case properly and it felt sturdy. I realized when I push it around with a small bit of force, the pin will start to wiggle loose and this happens regularly in the pocket. I think there was a bad batch of these.

When I looked up how much just the pen was it was in-between 50-60 dollars. So basically you might as well get the case too. Unfortunately this case does not hold the s-pen in place and it constantly pops out. I have to check before leaving somewhere or picking it up. Its nice to have the yellow pen easily visible.

It stains easily, the adhesive that sticks the case to the phone wears off very quickly, does not provide hinge protection and opening and closing the case causes micro scratches to ahow up on the hinge. Only recommend thus case if you desperately need the S-Pen.

It's less than one week old and the pen has already fallen out by itself. All you have to do is touch the release button and the pen easily comes out, even when you are not intending to remove it.

I think putting it on the phone changes the shape of the case enough that the pen becomes loose enough to fall out.
