It didn't seem to register steps accurately for me. Also, I couldn't wear at work comfortably.

Have you tried the Samsung Gear Fit 2? It is awesome! It works great & I honestly now don't know what I did without it. It is a great sleek design, lightweight and comfortable and has so much valuable information in that handy little gadget, you just can't beat it! This great product has Advanced Fitness Tracking, a built in GPS, heart rate monitor, built in call & texting while in use, music player, auto tracking, multi-sport tracking and sleep monitoring! It is just purely amazing! I would recommend and have recommended this awesome Samsung Gear Fit 2 & will continue to do so! It is truly awesome!

Nice, but with serious HR/GPS accuracy issues.

So far, so meh... I mean, the hardware is great -- it has all the features I wanted. Waterproof, GPS, HR, fitness tracking...everything. And aesthetically, it's beautiful. Legible in light, and a great presentation. I also LOVE the notification options for text, calls, and other apps you indicate are important. Said differently, it allows you to customize what apps have permission to send notifications to the tracker... So why 'meh'? Well, I've been on two runs. The first, the GPS was accurate. The HR, however, was WAY off. It read I had a heart rate of 220 at one point. That's just wrong -- but a lot. I regularly wear a chest strap for my runs, and I really never get over 195. The second run?... The GPS registered about half the distance... AND, the HR read 225 this go. Again, completely wrong. Not good when accuracy is paramount... Another thing I'll say about the Fit2 is that it's not very liberal with steps taken. Meaning, if you are holding a cup of coffee in your right hand and go for a stroll, you probably won't get credit for the steps. The app is pretty bad too. There's some serious work to be done here where they get it to be more like FitBit or other more friendly ecosystems to users. This isn't a deal-breaker for me, but I do miss the FitBit app -- it was just really well designed. I'm waiting on a replacement from BBY. Mine COULD be a dud, but I'm a little worried about the next one too. However, if mine is just an anomaly...and it is a dud...It's an awesome device. Seriously, the promise of the hardware are GREAT.

Nothing special, really nothing more than a digital watch. heath rate monitor was fun for 15 minutes. the font was too small to be useful so i depended on the wrist vibration to know when i had a message, really that was its only remediable quality in my opinion. I gave it one star for the nice fit & finish

For the money, this is one of, if not the, best activity trackers currently on the market. GPS works great, tracking your daily steps is very accurate as well. I switched from a Garmin costing a lot more that died on me twice (fenix 3HR). PROS: -You can workout without your phone as it stores your music right on the band and has built in GPS -Heartrate seems to be as accurate or better than any wrist HR monitor. Actually does better than my fenix 3HR did compared to a chest strap. -Notifications from your phone are excellent and you can decide what you want notifications from -Do not disturb mode is easy and works great for meetings or sleeping at night -Customization is nice with lots of free and paid watch faces and aps you can use with the band -Automatically records workout if you forget to start your workout Cons: -Battery life. Have to charge daily if you do any activity that uses GPS -Samsung ap. Not nearly as nice or user friendly as other aps I use and does not connect to most MAJOR aps that people already use such as Myfitnesspal, Mapmyrun, or Garmin Connect. -Display is hard to read in bright light (outdoors) -Need to keep on your right wrist to keep an uninterupted connection with wireless headphones Overall, I highly recommend this but wanted to put everything out there I have encountered so far.

I bought this item . When I got home and charged it up the device wouldn't even power on . I returned back to store to have sells rep tell me may have been defective from manufacture. I swapped for another one and had same results. My wife laugh at me and said my fitbit works fine.

As a watch, is very good device. Maybe for heavy training too. But just wanted to calculate my steps on a daily basis. Got calculated 125 steps while sitting reading a book. It reads hand movements instead of steps. If I wanted a watch, I would have keep it. Not what I was looking for.

The design and fit were nice as were most of the option. However my Gear Fit never worked properly. Miss counted steps (for every 1 step I took it counted 10) and the heart rate was never right. The music playing option did not work consistently either. I returned it within 10 days.
