Can't Live Without
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where has this been all my life? I just love the style, the functionality. The only this this is missing is Bixby, OK Google support. The OS is smooth, there is no lag after swiping or tapping. The app on the phone makes updating and choosing what apps can notify you on the watch a breeze. The app does everything for you. No need connecting to a PC. Other than the normal activity tracking, I really like being able to reply to texts, getting my calendar notifications, google now info (like time to and from work), my sleeping pattern, and weather!! The battery doesn't quite last 5 days but I do get 3 days on one charge. If you do a lot of cycling like I do this watch along with Samsung Health will track your ride. Also if you have cadence and speed sensors the app will pick them up with no issues.

Great fitness bracelet but needed to change bands
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found that my Fit 2 is really accurate on most measurements except heart rates. I found that I had to put it on tight to get the reading as close to the elliptical machine reading. The steps was about right. I changed the band due to the original band kept falling off (bought a replacement on ebay). I would say it's better than the Garmin Vivosmart hands down. I always take this off before showering, due to the sensor causing a possible rash from previous posts. I enjoy this watch due to it being a close match to the iWatch.

Daily Companion
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Gear Fit2 Fitness Watch is my daily companion. I rarely ever take it off because it is so comfortable and convenient. I love the sleek, modern look and easy to read face. Also, it is a wonderful fitness band - it monitors my heart rate, steps taken, stairs, sleep patterns and so much more. The only cons would be that the charge only lasts a couple of days and the step count is inaccurate when your arm is stationary (ie. mowing, pushing a cart). With that said, I would definitely recommend this product!

Easy Setup/Great Tool
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SUPER easy to setup and connect to my Samsung smart phone. It was so easy that at first I thought that it couldn't be so simple and seemless, but it was. Since getting it setup I've used it as a tool to keep me accountable. I've tried several times with the native apps on my phone to do this, but I simply lacked the discipline and didn't keep track of pretty much anyting, other than my steps, which wasn't really all that useful. The wearable technology that the Samsung Gear Fit2 provides with its integration to my phone is amazing and lends itself to helping me overcome my lack of personal discipline in tracking my health, my exercise, etc. It also makes me think about keeping on track every day, all day, in a very mentally healthy way. Wearable technology is absolutely amazing!

Does the basics well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this with the Note 7 preorder. It fits nice and is light. I use it mainly for keeping track of steps and when i'm in the gym to track miles and calories. It doesn't do a good job when you lifting even though the exercises are there. As long as you're not expecting this thing to be your end all for fitness tracking, you will enjoy it. I especially love the fact that I can transfer my music to this watch and listen from my wireless earbuds when working out. No longer need to carry my phone around.

Excellent fitness Tracker..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a great job in everything from general fitness tracking to GPS to heart rate monitoring. Music playback via Bluetooth earphones is the best part. Now, I can go out for running leaving my mobile phone at home..

Better than my FitBit!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After over year of using a Fitbit I decided to try the Samsung Gear Fit2. I love the option of adding a custom watch face. I also did test where I wore both my Fitbit and the Fit2 for a couple of days. In my opinion, I believe the Fit2 is more accurate. The fitbit seemed to add more steps and more floors than I actually did over the course of the day. I also enjoyed the notifications that you're able to get on the fit2. Ive noticed I take my phone out of my pocket a lot less since I get notifications on my wrist. The watch band seems thinner than my fitbit but overall sturdier. Overall a great product and I enjoy it! I've had zero problems with it since I bought it.

Love the Samsung Gear!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love the Samsung Gear Fit2. I had never used a sports watch/smart watch before and now I can't imagine life without one! I love being able to see my steps each day and try to meet my step goal. I also love the watch for when I am at work and can't be on my phone so I can monitor my texts and calls via the watch. The only thing is I wish you could type reply texts rather than just choose from the few present text replys.

Great battery life, lightweight
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Moto 360 first gen Smartwatch that was giving me trouble. I also use a Samsung phone so I thought let me give this new product a try. The price was almost $100 less than the Moto 360. It syncs flawlessly with the S Health app from Samsung. The battery life is great, 2 to 3 days under medium to heavy usage.

Not for Google Pixel XL
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you own a Google Pixel XL, this Watch is not compatible!!! After many hours of research and much deliberations I settled on this watch as the best bang for the buck. The MFGR's website states that this watch is compatible with all android devices. After three hours with Google support and then passed to Samsung support, I was informed that this watch is not compatible with the Google Pixel. I would have to take it back. I was not happy!! I guess they consider a Google Pixel not to be an android device. It is a great watch for those phones that support it. Not for Google Pixel XL

Liking this so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this band has met my expectations with all its features. It feels very good on the wrist with this soft material. The charging is a breeze and it charges fast. The "message back" options are great especially for a quick response. The internal storage is great. adding music is super easy. Love that I can control Spotify from my wrist, And most of all its comfortable.

Wow
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the design of the narrow face and the capabilities of using Bluetooth to sync your health information to your phone or quick response to a text or even see who's calling. My only wish is that they figure out a better way to latch the wrist band because whenever it catches on to something it releases the clip. Overall though I'm happy with my purchase.

What a well design product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am trying the Gear Fit 2 because Microsoft has abandoned the Microsoft Band. The Gear Fit 2 is a fitness product while the Band is a health tracking and information product, so I will just do a comparison of the fitness capabilities. I can do the information management pieces with my Samsung phone, but I will miss the cool factor of being able to bring up my Starbucks card on my Band which displays the barcode so that I can pay for my coffee without pulling out my phone. The first thing about the Gear Fit 2 is how small and comfortable it is the strap is thin, easy to put on the wrist, and replaceable if it wears out. When you activate the screen, it is very clear and colorful. The watch faces that come installed on the Gear Fit 2 are not that impressive but fortunately you can download much nicer and informative ones with the Gear app on your cell phone. Interacting with the Gear Fit 2 is easy, there are two buttons on the side as well as the screen that swipes in all four directions. The default screen, watch face can actually provide a great deal of usable information (depending on what watch face you have installed). The screen resolution is incredible so a great deal of information can be packed into the screens. Swiping left and right cycle you through the usual health related screens like calories, steps, exercise, sleep, and heart rate. You can also add things like Caffeine, Floors, Water, and Together. Swiping down lets you control connectivity, brightness, and music. Music is interesting because you can either load music with your cell phone to the Gear Fit memory or control Spotify on your connected device, very cool. Pressing the button on the side you can access all of the applications installed on the Gear Fit 2. Some applications are standard like Stopwatch, timer, alarm and others are not standard like Find my Phone. To turn off the display you just cover the screen with your finger. The Gear Fit 2 will also nudge you when you have been idle for too long. All in all, it is a suitable replacement for my Band. I now want to learn about writing programs for the Gear Fit 2 so that make an application like my favorite Starbucks app. Maybe I will add other types of loyalty cards as well.

Great fitness watch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first fitness watch so I can only speak for this one, but I love it. Samsung never lets me down. I really wanted the Gear S 2 Classic, but this came free with my Note 7 and I'm glad I started using it. I have been using it for about a week now and have no complaints. I have only had the band come unlatched once and that's because I caught it on something. It sinks very well with the S Health app on my phone. One of my favorite things is that it tracks my sleep. I am very happy with my decision to keep it.

Great Product from Samsung
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Samsung Gear Fit2 has done nothing but impress me. I have worn it religiously since I first got it. To work, to the gym, and around the house. The sleek build is accentuated by the amazing little display screen. I spent many days trying the different display faces until settling on one of the many well designed interfaces. I have not used the exercise function much, but the Gear Fit2 amazes me when it tells me that I have done 30 minutes on the elliptical machine or finished a good job even though I never "told" it what I was doing. With regards to the auto-detect exercise feature, I must admit it often adds a minute after I finish unless I completely stop moving. That, though, is only a small issue with an otherwise top-notch product. A bigger issue is the fact that it often counts stairs when I never leave the ground floor. (I have heard that this is an issue with most fitness watches, and it never really bothered me.) I never really cared about not wearing a watch for the past 8 years, but I have grown so accustomed to wearing the Gear Fit2, that the one or two days I forgot to put it on when running late for work, I caught myself looking at the time on an empty wrist. Speaking of the watch function, it has a really cool feature whereby you simply raise your wrist toward your face and the main interface is displayed (clock, steps, etc.) You also can easily put the OLED display to sleep by simply covering the watch face with your other hand. It definitely is a nice feature. The Gear Fit2 is an amazing gadget. It has become a constant i my life and has not let me down. The battery life is pretty amazing compared to my wife's FitBit HR. I have gone at least 3 days or more of heavy use before it even seems to run low. With the battery in mind, I truly appreciate the design of the Gear Fit2 charging station. It has a magnetic holder that locks the Gear Fit2 into place atop the small charge station, and takes very little time to come to a full charge. Overall I can't wait to discover more features hidden within the Samsung Gear Fit2!

Great fitness Partner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took the time to explore the Gear Fit2 since it was my first time using a device of this kind. I must say I was totally blown away. I have compared it to a couple others my friends have and I make them feel jealous. The large easy to read display is superb. I also love the fact that I can organize the information in the priority I want them. The heart rate monitor does an excellent job of tracking my heart rate at different activity levels. Overall, the Gear Fit2 is a great fitness companion

Piece of Junk Worst Smart Watch of all I tried!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the one of worst products I have ever bought and the worst Smart watch of all that I have tried, it was not compatible with my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime because it is not one of the expensive Samsung Phones, the app that connects with it requires 1.5 GBs or more of free memory which is Stupid, Samsung should work to make sure it will work with just about any phone made with in the past 2 to 3 years and I should not have to buy a new $500 or more phone just to use a smart watch that is a entry level smart watch, the 2 Garmin's I had did not have any problems with my phone not having enough memory but one of them did not have all the minimal basic features I wanted and the other one was too expensive for what I wanted it for. The Samsung Rep tried to sell me a new phone and so did the Best Buy guy at the customer service counter I got a refund from. I have Metro PCS so I don't think the phones they sell would work on Metro PCS because I think you have to go with one of the 2 big providers, AT&T or Verizon. Because of the experience I had with the Samsung Rep I'm now turned off of Samsung Products except maybe their Cell Phones, I guess they make good Cell Phones but not other stuff. It is not compatible with any external heart rate monitors like a chest strap while The Garmin vivifit HR is compatible with a chest strap, foot pod, temperature, Bike Speed Sensor, Cadence Sensor sensor, and some cameras you can use to see what is behind you when riding a bike and a sensor that detects when vehicles are approaching you from behind and flashes a light on the back of your bike to get the drivers attention Another stupid thing is the warranty is only 30 days, what kind of nonsense is this? 30 days is even worse then the 90 warranties you get on cheap low end products and no different then most store return periods. Garmin products come with a 1 year warranty including Refurbished products. Avoid this product at all costs, total JUNK, waste of money even at the 130 bucks I paid for it when they did a Amazon Price Match on it. I ordered a refurbished Garmin Vivio Active HR on Amazon and can't wait to get it.
