Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the Gear Fit 2 for about 3 weeks now and I just love it! Love the features and it looks like Samsung is updating the software because there are some features that are showing up on a regular basis. Maybe it's because the Gear Fit2 team up with SHealth> looks like they are learning my habits. Every time I get to move a little bit more than usual, I get some kudos from my smart watch/health tracker. Love the fact that I can respond to texts or answer/reject calls from the Fit2. You need Bluetooth headphones to take advantage of all the functionalities.

Great fitness tracker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gear fit 2 is a huge improvement from the first one. Basic but strong function. Only downside is that it only works with samsung phones.

Love GPS. Great with Samsung Phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the fact this has the GPS so I can get live distance that I have ran. Only complaint would be that it is not compatible with iPhone.

Terrible Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate to write scathing reviews, but this is a message to Samsung to get this thing straightened out. Used for 1 week. Have done nothing extraordinary with the device other than download one watch face. First problem is the flights climbed measurement. It is so grossly inaccurate I cannot for the life of me figure out what is going on. The first 10 minutes I had it on sitting idle it claimed I had climbed like 30 flights of stairs. I was sort of willing to overlook this issue because it is not all that important to me. Second issued arises a few days later where the sleep function on the unit just disappears. It is literally no where to be found, either on the device or the Galaxy S app. I did a hard reset and nothing. Really disappointed with the device, such a nice design and screen, but software is buggy to say the least. This item is getting returned for a Garmin or Fitbit.

Fitness band and more
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for tracking steps and workouts. Bought this to get myself motivated to be more active. I also like being able to see my texts without having to get my phone and send simple replies.

Pleasantly surprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As an owner of the first gen Moto 360 I was already accustomed to wearing technology. This has been a nice change of pace, small and light. I can easily wear it through the night and like the feature set. I love the ability to quickly log glasses of water as this is something I've been trying to work on. The altimeter does seem to be a bit off though, sometimes not registering floors and other times registering more than expected.

Great so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had the Samsung gear fit 2 for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. I also have the Samsung gear and wear the fit way more. I enjoy how sleek it is and that it doesn't feel heavy on my wrist. I also like how I can change the watch interface depending on how I'm feeling that day. It is very accurate in counting steps although it doesn't do flights of stairs very accurately. I give it 4 stars!

Pretty and sleek
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great product. It's sleek and slim and has awesome background themes. I love how it syncs perfectly with my phone. When I'm on the go I don't have to check my phone. I can see my text messages and recieve phone calls. My only complaint is that the clasp doesn't hold too good when I get a bit too rough with it. But if you are looking for something that syncs great with your galaxy s7 this is it!

Complete Utter Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly this smart tracker is horrible, I wish it worked like they thought it would... Here are the problems with it. First of all I am a huge Samsung fan, but this thing is a piece of junk! Pros: Looks cool, neat watch faces, comfortable, easy to charge, easy to read and see. Cons: Everything! Heart sensor barley works, you have to sit still to use the HR, Spotify only works with your phone close by, notifications don't send to the watch (if they do 10 minutes later) main clock screen only shows steps/call NO HR on main screen, the buttons on the side are horrible. The thing is a complete piece of junk... This product could have been great but a horrible attempt at a fitness tracker!!!

don't do it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On paper, this was the perfect device. It tracks all the normal fitness tracking data, GPS, built -in music storage, and it's waterproof/resistant. However, its data recording is terrible. The GPS doesn't always turn on when recording a workout, but the worst part is counting floors of stairs climbed. The Fit2 somehow has me climbing 120-150 flights a day. Apparently, I can even climb stairs while sitting around the office. I tried to work with Samsung customer support, but when resetting, etc. didn't help, I sent it back to them for repair (just over a month after buying it?). The Fit2 came back in the same inaccurate condition. I really don't think anyone on the other end had any idea why it was sent back. The strangest thing is that everything seemed to work fine for the first few weeks, or I would have returned it to Best Buy. It was only after the 30-day return period that it stopped working. I just hope Samsung can fix the software so this will be more than a digital watch. Until then, buy ANYTHING else. I'm going back to my Fitbit.

Looks cool, good capabilities, horrible software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a fitness tracker you have the choice between Garmin and Fitbit. Garmin devices look like they were designed in Russia in the 60's and Firbit devices seem to be based on 60's Russian technology. So I was very happy to find the GearFit 2 which looks cool and seems to be based in modern technology. Unfortunately the software is horrible, it is extremely slow. If you look at it to see the time be prepared to stare at a blank screen for 10 seconds and then at an old time for 5 more seconds before it updates. Say you want to start a workout and tap on Start, nothing will happen until maybe 5 minutes later. On the other hand if you do yard work it will discover that you started a "Dynamic Workout" and you are stuck on that screen. It is an extremely frustrating piece of junk.

Great watch for running
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first purchase of a smart watch and I am definitely satisfied. I use it for running almost 4-5 times a week and it is great. The activity tracker is fairly accurate and being able to control my Spotify playlist from my watch is very helpful. Overall I would recommend this to someone looking to get a fitness/smart watch hybrid.

Heart Rate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this specifically to wear instead of my strap based monitor. I wore both while doing a stationery bike workout. For a period of time during the workout they were in sync. Then they diverged greatly. I know my general effort and the strap version was at 140 BPM while the Fit2 dropped to 82 and stayed there. Not acceptable. Okay in other respects but not serving the main reason I spent the money.

Extremely Dissapointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband and I purchased 2 of the Gear Fit2's, a blue one and a black one. After getting everything set up and looking the way we wanted them to we noticed that the blue one wasn't holding a charge. It was dropping battery life at a rate of 10% an hour. I ended up having to charge it 3 times in 24 hours. The next morning just walking from my care to my office with bluetooth, WiFi, GPS turned off and brightness down to a 5, it went from 100% to 88%. I talked to my husband about his and he noticed his was dropping quickly too. By the time our local best buy opened I was already down to 50%. My husband's lasted 7 HOURS before it totally died. The battery is suppose to last 3 to 4 DAYS. I took mine back and got a refund. My husband had read that the latest update was causing issues and whoever installed it, their batteries were no longer lasting. So he exchanged his and didn't install the latest update. That seems to be working. His new one is lasting longer. But now he has a notification on his phone for the update the won't go way and if it automatically pushes the update it's going to mess it up again and he'll be left with a paperweight.
