Nice fitness watch with some smart watch features. Battery life is two days max. GPS is either very accurate or way off. For example, it might show double the distance that I really ran, but only once in a while.

    Great Product, HORRIBLE Battery

I've had the Gear Fit 2 for about 3 months now. Honestly, the functionality is fantastic, but I can hardly use it because the battery is so bad. I put on my Gear Fit 2 at 8am and it's 9:40am, and it's at 88% with all notifications disabled? All I have is 2811 steps. That's pathetic. What's the point of having loads of functionality like this if it doesn't stay on? I WANT it to track my sleep, but how can I do that when I need to charge it at night? Yesterday i had it charging all night, and it was dead by 3pm. Thanks but no thanks... Considering switching back to archaic FitBit ChargeHR.

Samsung finally got it right with the Gear Fit2. A great activity tracker that is so much more! The watch/activity tracker integrates with your Android phone to receive notifications, voicemail and includes 4G storage for music files. More functionality than a Fit Bit and it comes with a find my watch function on your phone. You will enjoy the Gear Fit2; it is a great tracker at a great price.

    Looks Great, Performs Mediocre

I bought the Samsung Gear Fit2 because loved the look of this compared to other fitness trackers, and I thought it had just as many functions as any of the others. I ended up liking everything about it except three things: 1) It does not accurately count steps or floors. I live on the third floor of a building with no elevator.. the gear fit2 never recognized that I ever went up any stairs. 2) I noticed that it only tracked my steps when I was walking normal (i.e., not carrying anything in that hand, or without shoes) 3) My samsung phone only has 1GB RAM, and 1.5GB are required to load any programs / etc. Without being able to hook this to my phone, this phone is extremely limited. I originally thought I might upgrade my phone if I liked the gear fit2, but because of #1 and #2 above, I figured it wasn't worth it. I returned it and bought a Garmin VivoActive HR. It's not as attractive, and not nearly as user friendly to set up! but, now that I have it set up, I'm much happier with the Gamin... However, if you're not all that concerned about accuracy, and user-friendliness is a major issue for you, the samsung is a comfortable and good looking option. Just not for me.

This is hands down the best. Large display, super responsive touchscreen, accurate sleep tracker, steps, and a great price. I would totally recommend this over any tracker or watch. I have or have had apple watch, gear s2 classic, fitbit alta, and the gear 2 neo and this is by far the best one I have used.

Its that nice in-between, between the Gear S2, which i previously had, and a fit bit. Not too large, not too small that it cant do anything. Just the right size with the right applications to include spotify and a music player with on board storage is the perfect semi-smart watch out there for people who like to exercise or just want to break away from a boring old watch.

    Samsung Customer Service is terrible

I'm really starting to think I'm no longer a Samsung fan. I've been without a watch for about 2 months now. First issue is the strap connector broke, not the strap itself. Call Samsung customer service and they sent me a shipping label to send to them to get it fixed, once they got it, it was probably about a week or 2 before they sent it back. They said they also replaced the screen cause of something I didn't even notice, but whatever, as long as it worked. Two days later, watch screen died... wouldn't charge, did nothing. So I called, they emailed me another shipping label to send out a second time, waited around a week once they got it, then a few days later got it back ...sorta. This time they decided to replace the whole thing with a new one. Cool right? Except they replaced it was a SMALL size instead of a large like I originally had... I called that day I got it, and was on on the phone for close to an hour, and the last bit of the call was over 20 minutes of being on hold with one sentence being repeated more than once a minute telling me to get my support from online... I hung up and called again asking to be called when they get the chance, they said that was fine ...never got a call back from them. Had to call about 4 or 5 times and I emailed them throughout the week with no luck. Finally I tried doing the online chat with them and the guy seemed pretty helpful, except the number he gave me to get it resolved was the wrong number and I got transferred at least 3 different times. FINALLY, someone sent me a new shipping label to get the current one, that was the wrong size, sent back. I called today (Friday) to see what the status was since I shipped it out early morning on Monday. ...they said it's be a out 14 business day to process ....14 days to send me the right size watch... I'm rather astonished by how complicated and long this whole process has been. I cannot believe how incompetent their customer service and service support is. The device itself is a nice device as long as nothing breaks or anything but....apparently customer support is a challenging thing for samsung

Don't buy this... will be gone before you know it

I had wanted an activity watch for a while, and did a lot of research before buying a Samsung Gear fit2 from Best Buy. My husband bought me this Samsung Gear Fit2 for Christmas, along with the warranty offered by Best Buy for the device. I am an RN at a large Hospital. I had had trouble with it coming loose several times before, but always caught it before it fell off. From reading online reviews after the fact, this is a common problem with this type of band. Within three weeks, the watch fell off my arm while I was working, and didn't even know it until I went on break later in my shift. I tried using the finding device on the Gear Fit 2, but it wasn't able to find it. Needless to say, I never saw the watch again. After the fact, I have found out that several co-workers have had the same problem with this kind of band. One of my co-workers had the same problem with an Apple activity watch, and Apple replaced the watch since it was lost due to the defective band. When I called Samsung, they said that loss wasn't covered in my warranty, even though it was because of the defective band. Best Buy told me that loss is not covered, so they would not replace it either. Best Buy said they would only replace the device because of damage, and that if I didn't have the watch, they couldn't help me. Basically it's my loss, and neither company is standing behind the product. Save yourself the money, and buy an Apple, and don't depend on your Best Buy warranty to protect your device . Buyers beware!

    Best Fit Tracker and More

The tracker is by far the best I have used. I use it to sync with Strava. It is easy to set up and more durable than the I watch. I have both. I use this with my Samsung S7 Edge and I use my i watch with my 6plus. This is worth every penny you pay. It is very sexy looking but hold its own weight. It tracks everything you need to know.

My first gear fit completely died on me and since it was under best buy extended warranty I took it in for a replacement but they no longer carried that model so I had to get the gear fit 2 and samsung has removed so many functions that I really needed, if I could choose I would stay with the original gear fit. I think if someone didn't have the original one they would enjoy this one but so many functions that integrated with messages and calls have been changed or removed even the option to choose which wrist you want to wear it on so the buttons can be where you want them

I enjoy this device, it works well I have had to do a soft reset of the device a couple of times. When I did reset I lost my steps and stair count for the day. No way to manually import the information
